I love desserts, and that is why yogurt has always been a great treat, because it is usually lower in calories than ice cream and low in fat. I have always been a big fan of Dannon yogurts, so when they came out with this low calorie version that is supposed to curb your appetite as well as be healthy I had to try it. I went for the Vanilla Cream version and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Each spoonful was a blend of light and luscious cream with the sweet subtle flavor of vanilla. It had all the flavor of pure vanilla ice cream but in a softer texture. Each serving is only 70 calories, though it does not fill you up. I was disappinted that these yogurts are smaller in size than the normal Dannon Light and Fit, which makes the packs a little pricey. I love the taste of this yogurt, but if you are looking to indulge, go for the regular Light and Fit. You will get the same flavors and that will help you stay fuller longer. Danon i have heard that it contain less calories & it helps in reducing the weight but the taste is so awful. It doesn't makes us to have some more. It tastes like mud. May be it might be doing the weight reducing work but its not good to taste. After having one we can't think of having even later an another one. They squash the fruits nicely so you don't get any much of fruit taste. If any one is strong to lose thier weight & not bothered about the taste then they can try this product. Its not a good tasty one....

My family is NOT a yogurt loving family. Mom & Dad don't enjoy yogurt but Mom will eat the Vanilla & Cream one and my children who cannot eat a lot of sugar and are on a special diet can enjoy this and LOVE the strawberry. I recommend this product as it is a great option and has flavors with low sugar and are great dairy treats. ...

Once again, I am on a quest to eat healthier, so while I was at the grocery store, I was checking out the yogurt's and I saw a different kind of yogurt that peaked my interest. It was Dannon Light & Fit Crave Control Yogurt. They sell this in packs of four 4 oz. containers for around $2.99. I thought was a little pricey but if it was healthy, maybe it was worth it. It wasn't.

The Facts

1/3 fewer calories than regular lowfat yogurt
60% less sugar than regular lowfat yogurt
0% fat, 0% added sugar, 70 calories
Crave control with protein fiber plus
Contains milk and wheat

My Experience

This particular yogurt is mixed with cereal and supposedly, the protein and fiber that it contains will help control hunger. I purchased the vanilla and cereal flavor and I so wish I hadn't. Blech!
