Well I never dreamed it would really work---I saw the commercials---I laughed and said no way Jose.............but after trying everything else and beginning to think my constipation was just a fact of my chronic illness life---including being able to quote fiber counts of most foods---I said "What the heck...what have I got to lose" and I do like yogurt anyway---so I took the ACTIVIA challenge and now I am a believer and advocate---I must adit though that it took 16 days before it worked but since then I go 6 out of 7 days instead of every 6 or 7 days............so I am proud to have given up my pride and found the answer I needed----if you know someone like me send them this------it may be the best email they get

I'm a college Senior in Business Administration that has had a problem with IBS since I was around seven years old.

I've tried EVERYTHING out there to try and fix this problem, re-arranging my meals, eating differently, trying to adjust stress levels, trying pre-biotics (like Align), going to a GI, as well as going onto medications like Bentyl and Zantac.

Well, all I can tell you, is that all of the above methods suck.

Last Fall, I decided to try Activia.

I saw the commercials, read up on a ton of reviews, I figured, "Why not?"

I purchased enough to eat everyday for quite some time, and here's what I have to say about this product:

Activia is a product, and it does work. However, it is NOT a miracle cure.

When you first start taking Activia, it can have some side-effects, you have to be prepared for this.

The probiotic (Bifidus Regularis) has to get into your system and do what you're asking of it, if that means expelling some of the junk in your system, so be it.

It can take a weaker stomach...

i have been using activia yogurt by dannon now for about 1 year and i have to say it is a great product. before i started eating activia my digestive system was a mess. i constantly had stomach problems and bowel trouble but i have to honestly say that my digestive problems are 90 percent better. i just eat activia once in the morning everyday and it has helped me so much i can't even begin to say. i love the vanilla and strawberry flavors but all of it is good. i sincerely hope for myself and for alot of other people too that this product never goes off the market, because i think there would be alot of disappointed people. this product has meant the world to me. my stomach problems was so bad that i also had vomiting problems before i started eating activia. i hope this review was not too graphic because i just wanted to say how much of a difference it has made to my life.i just want to thank dannon for coming out with a product that is great. everyone should try it too. it tastes...

Activa Yogurt is very delicious. I've tried peach and cherry and was surprised I liked it. I saw the TV commercials with Jaimie Lee and was sort of turned off by the brand name and that it seemed geared for someone in their 50's. If you judge on taste it is good and the portion seems satisfying. I can't really attest to knowing how it helps digestion...no problems before or after.

Activia made me sick. I do not want to know anything about this product. I have the same horrible symptoms, dizzines, cramping, vomiting feeling and a lot of pain in my lower back and legs. I defenitely do not recommend this product at all.

Started eating activia to regulate my digestive system and curve appetite, however, all I accomplished is to experience stomach pains and constipation, I cannot wait until this product is out of my system. I experimented by not eating the product for a couple of days, and then digested the product again with the same results, bloating, constipation and abdominal pain.

PLEASE don't take the Activa challenge...I bought and tried this product for the past week...I became ill Saturday morning with a distended belly like a beach ball and the worst of possible gas...I contacted the company with my complaint and they were questioning and failing to accept any responsibility for the side effects of this awful stuff...When I say that I was sick, I mean really sick...gas so bad that I didn't want to be in the room with anyone else and my belly was huge...I am not lactose intolerant and only tried this because of the advertising campaign...my mistake...The woman offered me coupons...which I declined...When I asked for my money b ack, she refused and said that they don't give cash refunds...I thought the Activa challenge was your money would be refunded if you were unhappy...So much for my ever buying a Dannon product again...

I was skeptical that Activia Yogurt would help regulate my digestive system because I've already eaten a lot of cultured yogurt in my life, but I decided to try it because I've been miserable with IBS for over a year.

Much to my delight, I am feeling wonderful and regular and the yogurt is the only thing I've been doing doing differently. I believe Activia is doing just as promised and I will continue eating it daily for as long as they keep making it. The only way I'd be happier is if they were to expand the flavor selection. Peach and berries gets boring after a while.

I have IBS and was told to eat yogurt every day, I like Activia because of the probotics that are in it, I've been eating it every morning for 2 weeks and I've noticed a big difference in my symptoms. Its very good, creamy and like to add some toased oats to it for a little crunch and some fruit, but its just as good without the added items.

I'm going to be honest with you here. I am NOT a yogurt fan; never have, never will. But earlier this month, I went to a healthy heart seminar, and they had the fish in the George Foreman grill and the Activa yogurt, a drink that is supposed to take away high cholestrol, which I have. But I will get to the yogurt. I was given the yogurt, and I tell you, I LOVE it. I stocked up on some so I can have something to eat, and I tell you, having one a day is very healthful and great on my system; I plan to incorporate it some more and change my ways because I need to. Thank God for it....

I have been using Activia for 3 1/2 weeks with out any relief with my constipation...I've always been a water drinker(8-10 glasses/day) and was hoping the two together would give me softer stool and regularity.

Unfortunately my Irritable bowel Syndrome has flared up after being dormant for several years. I have bloating and mucus stools since using Activia. I'm very disappointed after hearing how good it is for you... Why does it help some people and not others.??

I was having such severe stomach issues such as chronic gas, cramps, and sudden urges to use the restroom in the middle of a meal that I had finally broken down and made an appointment with a doctor to try and come up with a treatment/cure even though I abhor going to the doctor. As a last ditch effort I decided to try Dannon Activa a couple of weeks before my appointment. I had heard the claims but I have a very jaded view of big buisness promises as I know they are generally out to make money, not help people.
I purchased the large tub of Activa in vanilla and began eating it in the mornings mixed with granola cereal and with a few mixed berries on top. Quite tasty. The real miracle was that after only a couple of days, my stomach issues completely dissappeared. I have been eating it now every morning for about two weeks and I have yet to have any of my symptoms (which I have been living with for years) return! My appointment to see a doctor was yesterday, but......

I don't have a problem with constipation, but I wanted to see if it would give me a flat tummy like it shows in the ads. I didn't believe it would, but I figured it's healthy and can't hurt. But that attitude changed when, twice, I almost had to literally drop what I was doing and run to the bathroom! I gave it to 78-year-old Grandpa, who does have a problem with constipation, and he loves it!...

I had seen the commercials for Activia yogurt and I have also done my fair share of research on-line. I was hesitant to try to the product because on some days my digestive tract was "slow" but on the other days it was a little too "fast". I decided to give this product a try because I was tired of the inconsistency and was desperate to find something to help. I decided to try the 14 day challenge. On the first 3 days, I was thinking I had made a huge mistake. Within an hour of eating the yogurt, I was heading to the restroom and everything was "too fast". However, I did notice that my normal bloated and gassy (sorry, I know too much information) symptoms that I had in the afternoons were gone. So I decided to keep going unless the mornings became worse. Within one week, I was one happy woman. I eat my Activia Vanilla Yogurt (my favorite flavor) every morning as soon as I am up and about and my body works is like "clock work" and I continue to no longer have the afternoon......
