Greenpeaches says "I use Curel Ultra Healing Moisture Lotion daily to cure dry skin" about Curel Ultra Healing Moisture Lotion

I have to use skin lotion daily, because I suffer from very dry skin. If I use Curel Ultra Healing Moisture Lotion, I only have to apply lotion once daily. If I use "cheap" lotions or brands of a lesser quality, then I have to apply lotion more than once a day. Even though Curel Lotion is a little more expensive, it is worth the cost because of the relief from dry skin and the savings by not having to use as much lotion. The lotion does not wash off after repeated hand washings, so no need to reapply every time that you leave the restroom. I can put on Curel Ultra Healing Moisture Lotion in the morning, before work begins, and not have to reapply til the next day. You can immediately feel relief when you apply the lotion. It is smooth and silky, not too chunky or runny. I like the smell of the lotion, because there is no odd odor to the lotion. I can safely use it on every member of my family.
...

After searching for years for a lotion to cure chapped, winter knuckles and dry legs, this is the ONLY product that works without adding irritating fragrances, or the greasy feeling you get with the petroleum jelly-type lotions.

I have very sensitive skin on my hands that gets super chapped in the winter... any lotion with harsh chemicals or fragrances will burn, but this lotion is very gentle and effective, and it's not like those grease lotions where you feel like you need to wash your hands after applying the product.

This lotion has a pleasant smell to it, and if you use it as an overnight treatment with gloves you'll see a drastic improvement by the morning.

This product is readily available at all of the stores I regularly visit, but it's priced a little high at nearly $7 or $8 per bottle. Every now and then you'll see a coupon in the newspaper that gives you a better deal.
...

Curel Ultra Healing lotion works great for my dry skin. I work in a pet store and am constantly washing my hands and using hand sanitizers. This process leaves my hands feeling dry and itchy. Curel has been the best product for restoring moisture to my poor, dried out hands. I use the intensive type which has "extra-strength skin hydrators." I put this lotion on as soon as I get home and it is like immediate relief from the dryness in my hands. I also use this lotion for the rest of my skin to keep it moisturized throughout the day. It is one of the only lotions that is also gentle enough for me to use after shaving my legs. A lot of other lotions i've tried seem to stimulate razor burn, but this one alleviates it. I have tried several other types of lotions from the Curel Ultra Healing line and they all work just as well. They also don't leave your skin with the greasy feeling that a lot of other lotions do. This lotion is a little bit higher priced, but definitely worth the money you...
...

I have such dry skin that I need to put on lotion after a shower and EVERY time I wash my hands. I have found that this lotion doesn't let me down and works for every season. Some lotions are too thick for summer and humidity and others aren't quite strong enough for the winter months. However, this one is JUST RIGHT!
...

This cream really doesn't help my winter dry skin. It provides decent moisture to my not so dry areas but doesnt touch the extra dry areas on my hands. I have used better moisturizers in the past and will not be repurchasing this. The price is not bad at all and if your hands aren't too terribly dry, give this a try....

I have dry skin and my hands are no exception since I wash them a lot. My skin is also sensitive and I do my best to avoid parabens. This is hands-down the best lotion I've found in recent years. I only apply it twice a day or so, but it stays put without making my skin feel gunky or greasy. If you use too much, it does feel a bit sticky, but used moderately it doesn't....

Ever said "ouch!" when lotion goes on freshly-shaved legs?
Me too, and I searched for years for the lotion which would make the hurt go away. I finally found it, in Curel. No matter which formula I buy - "revitalizing" (with green tea, aloe and cucumber extracts) or "anti-aging" (with antioxidants, vitamins A,C & E, and exfoliants - I can apply Curel to my legs right after I've shaved them, and nothing happens.

If I do this with any other lotion, my legs hurt and can temporarily get little red bumps on them. But never with Curel. I rely on it.

Price is a bonus
Curel is so inexpensive it's practically free. I got lucky; I would have paid anything for a post-shave lotion that didn't hurt my sensitive skin. It's also available in every store.

Libby's Hot Tip: I still counsel all women to invest in cutting edge skincare products - particularly moisturizers - to protect their face, neck, chest and hands. (See my reviews on Prevage and Elizabeth Arden)

The Bottom Line: ...
...

I have tried many many lotions in the past some of them are good some of them are useless. I tried this lotion and was hooked. This is the best moisturizing lotion on the market in my opinion. It is a little, but not much more, costly than some of the other lotions however the cheaper ones just don't do what they claim they'll do. Try Curel - you won't be sorry!...

I suffer from itchy, flaky, painfully dry skin most of the year, with winter being the worst. I have dropped mucho dinero on all sorts of creams - from drugstore brand to high-priced designer brands. So far, Curel ultra moisturizing is winning in the running for best product. I have not tried every brand under the sun, but after years of searching, this product is the best for my winter dry skin - the biggest challenge of all. I found it lasts most of the day as well, and if used daily, it 'builds up" so to speak - and I'm left ahead. I have found other products disappear throughout the day and the next morning I'm in the same boat. With Curel, as long as I use it everyday, I am way more moisurized with each passing day then if I didn't use it at all....

I live in a dry area and the winter here is especially harsh on my skin. I'm constantly trying new lotions in hopes of finding one that works really well. Curel Ultra Healing didn't live up to my expectations. I need a lotion that keeps my skin hydrated all day long. A couple of hours after applying this lotion my skin was feeling dry and itchy once again. I continued to try it for over a week but I switched back to my old lotion when my skin never showed any improvement. However, it is inexpensive and it would probably be a lotion I'd buy for summer time when my skin isn't so dry....
