I love my Cuisinart. In fact, I own two! One I have had for 25 years! The other one is the model I am reviewing. I would never buy another brand of food processor!...

My food processor broke so my mom let me borrow her " good cruisnart" she calls it. Now I understand why! I was so happy with it I went out and bought my own good cuisinart food processor dlc 2011.. I use it weekly to make hummus and chop parsely for taboulie. I have also ground meat in it. Today I will be using it for butternut squash puree for a recipe. I would be lost without this machine. what a difference from the cheaper brand. The blades are very sharp and get the job done fast and easy. You wont be sorry! ...

i would say the above sentence because i screwed up my whole life and im stayin outa trouble now

when i was smaller i would just light things on fire and break stuff

i was in and out of dh, prison, jail, u name it

i was just bad kid,i was disrespectful and i didnt get along with anyone becuz i like 2 fight

i have bee locked up for a total of 19 years

i just got out in 06 from doin 1\2 years , plus i can be there for my dad and be the person he always wanted me to be when i was younger

I'm still learning how to cook, so I'm really not all that hard on kitchen appliances. When the 10-Cup Oster Food Processor that I owned gave up the ghost after about a year, I was surprised and very disappointed. I asked very little of that particular device and was annoyed that it self-destructed so quickly. When it came time to create a bridal registry, I added the Cuisinart DLC-2011 Food Processor.

This Cuisinart Food Processor is impressive as it has an 11-cup capacity, an extra-wide feed tube, and "dough technology" to adjust mixing speeds when you are making dough. It has a standard pureeing blade, a slicing blade, and a shredding blade. I've used my DLC-2011 to puree chick peas into hummus, to puree basil into pesto, to slice beets and carrots, and to shred kohlrabi, callalou greens, and beet greens. Everything I've asked this food processor to do, it has handled without any issue. Cleanup is easy as the bowl, feed tube, and blades all go into the dishwasher. The...

I've been using the Cuisinart Food Processor for over a year, and I love it! I use it for everything, even things that most people would do in a blender, like smoothies. It's smaller size makes it a heck of a lot easier to clean up and I usually just put it in the dishwasher.

My only compliant is that you have to keep holding the button down. Sometimes, it takes several minutes to chop up ice or other frozen goodies, and I'd like to be able to do something in a different part of my kitchen while that's going on.

Still, a minor compliant, and I would recommend Cuisinart over most other brands for food processors!

Cuisinart Food Processor is worth its space on the counter. If you have never used a food processor before, try all the recipes that come with the model. Then look online for more or watch The Food Network where chefs use their food processors constantly. I use mine for soups, stews, and salsa. I mix cake mixes with it for 30 seconds. It beats a mixer, and it is lots easier to clean. Surprise: you can also make great butter cream frosting from scratch. You can make it faster than you can unzip canned frosting and stir it to spreading consistency, and food processor frosting tastes better. Expect lots of compliments if you take a cake to a potluck.

I make salsa with mine and save $1.00 to $3.00 weekly over the price of premade salsa from the grocery store. By making my salsa, I control the salt. I also make mine by more bits and less tomato sauce: none, in fact.

I have had my Cuisinart for almost 10 years. It was the third I purchased after its two predecessors...

I love my Cuisinart! I am a bargain shopper but this has been well worth the money I paid for it. I've bought many cheaper ones in the past and none of them compare to my Cuisinart. Yes, it takes up some space on my counter (and I don't have much counter space) but I use it almost every day because it is so easy. It all comes apart and goes right in the dishwasher so it's easy to clean.

The motor is so powerful that it will chop almost anything. I'm a big pesto maker and have made over 100 cups of pesto in a day using my Cuisinart.

I have owned mine for a few years and it is great if your cooking alot.

otherwise it is too messy to clean up. I also have a mini chopper for small items.

There are alot of these on the market. But I say stay with a brand you can trust.

For the most part, I like this machine. It was the one I wanted and it does what I need it to do and I like that (I've never made dough in it, so cannot comment on that feature, which seems to be where people have issues with it).

That said, there is one thing I ABSOLUTELY HATE about it - one of the safety features! The "pusher" cup HAS to be inserted the correct way before the thing will run! That gets a BIG thumbs down from me! I'm sorry, but I don't always want it in there to run the stupid thing - I'm not always pushing something in. For this reason alone I might be tempted to buy a different model (I didn't fully research them before I asked for this one--I just knew I wanted an 11 cup Cuisinart).

I only used this machine maybe once every other month on average (if that). So imagine my surprise when after I used the machine and went to wash it, I noticed a small metal rod in the sink, and then I noticed that the handle of the bowl assembly was falling apart!! My stepdad was able to piece...

I love this powerful little gadget, but I already have so many on my counter that I have to stow it away on a hard to reach shelf.

The times that I do use it I love it. I makes dicing garlic and onions a snap and it's so powerful that I can use it to make salad dressings and glazes for desserts. It has so many uses.

Be careful when washing the blades.

Right before my husband and I were about to move we found two gift cards for a local Sur la Table that we had received as wedding presents. I wanted to spend them in the store rather than buying something online, and since there were no Sur la Tables where we were going, we took the night off from packing for our trip and went to the local mall to spend our gift cards. I told my husband that since he did almost all of the cooking in the house he could pick out whatever he wanted with them. He ended up choosing the Cuisinart DLC-2011 PowerPrep Plus 11-cup Food Processor.
