THE PURCHASE OF OUR CUISINART FOOD PROCESSOR WAS THE BEST PURCHASE OF THE SUMMER. WE GROW A GARDEN AND THE PROCESS OF PREPARING PEPPERS, TOMATOES AND ONIONS IS HARD WORK. THIS PROCESSOR MADE LIFE MUCH EASIER. NO MORE SORE HANDS FROM CHOPPING FOR DAYS ON END. THE EASE OF USE AND CLEANING IS A POSITIVE PLUS. I'D RECOMMEND THIS PROCESSOR TO ANYONE LOOKING TO PURCHASE ONE. This processor has many useful attachments which makes any task a breeze. STURDY AND MULTI USES UNLIKE MOST PROCESSORS THAT AHVE ONLY ONE OR TWO POSSIBLE SETTINGS. I USE THIS FOR EVERYDAY USES INCLUDING SHREDDING CHEESE. I love to be in the kitchen cooking. I love to try new and different recipes. And I LOVE my Cuisinart Food Processor is fantastic. It makes being in the kitchen more fun, because in stead of working with a processor that doesn't work properly, or even worse not having a processor, it make like a champ. It has different attachments so you can chop, shred or slice just about anything you can imagine. The attachments are very easy to change out and everything, but the base in dishwasher safe, which is a big plus in my book. It was a pulse button so when you are chopping things it's very easy to make sure that everything comes and uniform and the size you want. It's fairly expensive, but it's worth every penny. You have to remember that you are paying for the quality and durability of a Cuisinart Food Processor. I've owned mine going on 4 years and I know people that are going on 10 years with there, so it truely is a kitchen investment.

We had been browsing the Internet for about a week looking for a suitable food processor when we came upon the very reasonably priced "Cuisinart Smart Power Duet Blender/Food Processor" that we purchased. Although we wish that our Cuisinart came with additional processor blades (it comes with just two; one for general food processing and one for slicing and shredding), this product is well suited to our needs. It is also easy to clean and saves on counter space because it serves as a blender as well as a food processor. We use our Cuisinart for everything from chopping vegetables to making nut butters, juices, shakes and even hummus! Two other features we would like are a larger bowl capacity (ours is just 3 cups) and the ability to process hot food and liquids (the manual cautions against putting anything too hot into the processor).

In addition to our overall satisfaction with our Cuisinart, I must compliment the company on their great customer service! Shortly after we purchased...

Chops really well. I wish there were extra attachments, but it works well. Very easy to clean and is quiet helpful when I make salsa! It's compact enough that's it's easy to store, but it also is a good size to chop a good amount of food. It's a great brand.

The cuisinart is worth every penny! The slicer and shredder attachments are easily changed. There are many times I use all three of my attachments for one meal. This machine cuts my food preparation in at LEAST half!. We eat two salads a day, and we eat a lot of whole, raw foods.

All of the peices go easily in the top rack in the dishwasher, but usually I am able to just rinse them out and put them back on the base.

The things that I LOVE about the cuisinart is

1. The safety feature that makes it impossible to cut yourself by accidently starting the machine before it is put together properly.

2. The wide AND narrow spout for inserting food. I can pour in a whole can of olives to slice, or a whole chunk of cheese to grate. But then it will take one carrot at a time through the narrow spout. No more having to chop the "ends" of the carrots once you are through - they are all consistently grated or sliced!

3. The large 11 cup bowl. I have a family of 7, and I DO fill...

the cusinart food processor is very easy to use and to add the attachments to the machine. It comes apart very easily and can be cleaned well. The other attachments are very simple to use also. It is very durable and can be washed in the dish washer.

My Cuisinart food processor is the one single appliance I cannot live without. Whether I am preparing vegetables, soup, hors d'oeuvres, bread, pie crust dough, fillings for pies (or my baklava that I've made every Christmas for over 25 years)...the list is endless. My Cuisinart food processor makes the slicing, shredding, chopping, pureeing, kneading,etc. so fast and easy. The large capacity bowl is especially nice when making large quantities or sizes of certain food dishes. The extra blades fit nicely into the bowl for storing when not in use and everything but the base is dishwasher-safe, so clean-up is really a breeze. The motor is extra powerful so no task is too great and the locking lid insures that you can't hurt yourself on moving blades (a big safety feature if you have inquisitive little hands in your kitchen!) I have used my Cuisinart food processor for almost three decades and it works as well as it did when it was new! I love it!!

This is one of the best processors I have ever had. Its easy to use and with all the different blades i can do just about anything including mixing bread dough. Its a breeze to clean. But be careful the blades are very sharp and will cut you. I enjoy the way it saves me money but shredding my own cheese and chopping spices for use later. Would recommend this product to everyone. My mother-inlaw has a catering company and this is the only food processor that she will use. She has had hers for about 10yrs and I have had my for 7yrs. Both are still hard at work. When using this product for making dips and salads its handy and convenent. All you have to do is choose the type of blade needed put on the lid that allows you to slowly add ingredients to the processer with no mess no fuss. Then when finished remove lid and blade and empty product into bowl and your ready for the next project....
