I've had my zen vision w for over a year now and it goes everywhere i go. This is definiatly the best player ever. The screen on this thing is amazing, bright and colorful and crystal clear. The audio is great too, unless its coming out of the built in speaker, but that doesnt matter. The removable battery is a plus, because when it runs out i just switch it with another. The buttons are easy to use, and anyone can figure them out. The brushed metal doesnt scratch easy so thats a plus. Also it has an AUX out so you can hook it up to your tv and surround sound system (if you have them). However this thing is bulky, but not too heavy. The screen is a fingerprint magnet, and video convertion takes a while if you get them from a dvd. It also can only take the usb cable supplied with it.

Over all this is a great player, and anyone who buys an ipod is not very wise. Plus 30gb is plenty. I have 10 movies, all over 2 hours, and almost a thousand songs at normal play speed and quality... and......

This video player has the ability to play almost video format without conversion. That is a big plus since all you have to do is pretty much drag and drop. Also i like the fact that this mp3 player syncs with WMP 11, all my playlists are transferred automatically.

The best aspect of this player is the large screen and quality. It is probalby comparable to an HD screen that is shrunk to fit this player.
...

Myself says "Almost Perfect" about Creative - Zen Vision W 30 GB MP3 Player

The Vision W is a great mp3/video player. I had a Zen Xtra prior to this model and this one is way better. I wish I had gotten the 60g version - so much to put on this thing. I have over 6000 songs currently. Audio and video output is great. Navigation has improved from previous model but not quite perfect. I can not find a way to select and play multiple videos or zencasts - this seems like a pretty basic requirement - surprised you can't do it. The control buttons are a little small for my hands.

Picture quality is great. The screen is big. I can't vouch for battery life, sine I use mine in my truck connected to a dc adapter.

Great product. If you don't want to be part of the IPOD crowd, this is a great unit.
...

I love this product. Like most creative brands this product is innovative and a great product to own.

I like to watch video clips, podcasts, and movies on the go, and the Zen W is perfect for me, because of the large screen. You don't have to squint to view the action on the screen and the picture quality is very sharp and clear.

The sound quality is pretty good. You can listen to through the headphone jack or through the speaker. There are preset sound configurations like, Rock, Jazz, Concert, Bassboost, etc etc. There is also a FM radio.

You can store and view pictures and create a slide show with music with the Zen W. You can also use Compact Flash card to store extra pictures.

You can download content for your all Creative mp3 and portable media products including the Zen for free at zencast.com

It also comes with a cable that you hook up to your TV and play all of the Zen's content on your TV.

Other features include, a clock, changeable backgrounds, and a lock feature.

...

trolixer says "Great quality, tons of features" about Creative - Zen Vision W 30 GB MP3 Player

Being firmly against buying an ipod, this was my mp3 player choice for a variety of reasons.

The screen size is huge! If you want to watch movies on the go, this is the player for you. The batter life could be better, but hey, you can take the battery out and pop in a fresh one if you feel like spending the money on it. Still, it's better than the non-replaceable batteries found in most mp3 players.

Features, features, features. I know it probably doesn't have as many features as some other players might have, but it has enough for me! Built-in voice recorder and radio are awesome, although you can't record the radio, which would have been nice. There's a compact flash slot on the side which I never use, but you can buy an adapter to allow for other types of removable memory like SD, xD, etc.

The pictures are great quality, and it's nice to be able to zoom in to a full size picture, although those are you only two choices. It would be nice to be able to choose different zoom levels,......
