chaoticfun says "My toddler was awstruck by these!" about Crayola Bathtub Tints

We love the Crayola Bathtub Tints at our house. I waited until our little guy was old enough to really enjoy them before introducing him to the fact that I could turn his bathwater different colors. The first night I just tossed a blue fizz into the bathtub after he was already clean. My husband proceeded to act like I was insane and I had to block him from taking little man out of the bathtub. Then he became enamored with the fizz's as well. The next night, I tossed in both a blue and yellow fizz, and when the two colors collided, my little man was amazed to watch the blue and yellow water turn green. Adding these to his bathwater seems to prolong bath time just a tad, but that extra time in the bath seems to relax him a little more before bed. I can't wait until he gets a little older and he can really start to learn from mixing the colors. I do wish they would add a few more colors to the mix. I haven't had any problems with the fizz leaving a film or dirty scum on...
...

We bought these for my son, thinking they would be great for him since his age said he was too young for the bath markers. He did really enjoy taking a bath in different colored water. However, you have to put in 3 or 4 tablets to get a good coloring in the water. Just the recommended 1 or 2 barely even tints the water. Other than that, I think it's a great product. It just gets expensive after a while since there are not many tablets in the package and you need so many of them to actually get the full affect of water coloring.
...

This is an awesome product! My 3 year old barely bathes without one of these. Plus you can mix two colors together to get a different colored bath water which teaches about color mixing.

One tab does allot of water.

Doesn't stain bathtub!
...

Maridaw says "greatest kids bath product yet" about Crayola Bathtub Tints

We have been using these for years in several different homes and tubs. I always recommend them to friends who have children. My kids love them, and we don't have fights over getting in the tub. If the kids start to argue about getting in the tub, I get out the tub tints and ask 'do you want to get in a blue tub, or an orange tub?' It always works. They love choosing their color and watching it dissolve. We have never seen this product leave any kind of residue or staining in any of our tubs. Just about the only down side is they are sometimes hard to find, and the kids get upset if we run out. We love tub tints....

I bought the Crayon bathtub tints on clearance at Kmart and have to say that I love them. I have twins that are 2 1/2 and an 11 month old. The twins love it, they each get to pick a color then throw it in the tub, they watch them dissolve and watch the two colors make another color, they are fascinated by this. I think this also helps them to learn there colors. And they love bath time....

I am not a fan of Crayola Bathtub Tints. We received some as a gift. We used them but found them to temporarily stain. If you are too busy to scrub the tub, they will wash away after a few showers. If you have a darker colored bath tub, this will probably not be a problem. But the tub looks like someone just finished finger painting, and didn't rinse it all down the drain. We are passing our on to a friend with kids that have a blue tub from the 70's. The color problem should not be a problem for them.

If you use these in a bathroom that is also used for guests, plan on scrubbing after you put the kids to bed.
...

I am the type of person who takes and makes my children take baths or shower every night. My daughter went thru a phase whee she absoulty refused to take a bath or a shower.

My kids love the bath and when I saw these I had to get them. My daughter loves picking the color she wants to bathe in. While my son likes the surprise of what color mom has chosen for him. I like that they do not leave a ring around the tub (a concern of my husbands).

It is a little hard trying to remember what color I'm putting in because the color they look like may not be the color it becomes when it hits the water.

Overall a great hit!
...

My children love the Crayola bathtub tints. They want to use this product at every bath time. They greatly enjoy watching the water change colors. The only drawback with the bathtub tits is that they leave a scummy residue in the bathtub which I have found to be difficult to wash off....

These tablets are the best for getting my toddlers to take a bath. They enjoy turning the bath water red, blue, yellow, purple, green or orange. You just need one tablet to color the water, but to make the non primary colors you need to use two different ones. The tablets are not exactly true to the color that they dissolve into, but any colored bath water is still loads of fun! ...

Gotta love what they can do...gets the kids in the tub and they have fun while getting clean! My kids will actually ask to make different colors. However, the colors are not very bright and several tablets need to be used per bath. None the less, it is a creativity starter as the kids then want to learn about colors, make drawings, etc....
