I had purchased this amazing tool a few weeks ago at the Home Depot store and I must say that it is the best decision for me because this tool is really helpful. I am now able to do my day to day home job better than ever before. Having said all that, I am please with the overall efficiency and work load of the product because up to this point I have no problems with it and it is working really fine. I would definitely recommend this brand and type if you just need a simple drill to do a easy home job. Also, before purchasing this product I would definitely recommend that you are brief of the type of job that the product will be used for, whether it is for home use or industrial purposes. This is important because for industrial purposes I would recommend a more powerful equipment that have the horse power and capabilities to run for a substantial length of time with heavy work loads. However, overall I think this is a valuable and smart choice and I think it will serve you well because...

I have a Craftsman 19.2v combo set which is about 18 months old.. and BOTH of the NiCd batteries no longer hold a charge.

So I went to Sears this afternoon, looked long and hard at replacement batteries, (both NiCd and Li-on). I settled on this dril combo set because it has 2 19.2's and the angle drill (which my original combo set did not) for $109. But if you are going to purchase this set... watch the sales .. It has been as low as $89.

This is now my 4th Craftsman drill.. and I have always had great preformance from them (even the one I dropped from a second story window onto concrete).

I bought a Craftsman Cordless Drill 19.2 amps for my dad for Christmas, and out of all the power drills he owns, this is the first one he reaches for, he absolutely loves how great this works. The battery lasts for days on end, and doesn't take very long at all to recharge either. I bought this from our local Kmart for only $70.00 almost 2 years ago, and the power drill is still his favorite power tool. He works as a mechanic as well on semi's, just this last spring he decided to purchase one for work, and used it when ever he can, so this isn't just a tool for just in the house-he's used it outdoors, in the crawl space, in the attic, his garage, for yard work, at his job, for mixing, ect. This cordless power drill offers a lot of power for being cordless. This is worth purchasing for your dad, husband, brother, brother-in-law, your mother, ect, whoever is handy around the house, and this is sure to love, and get much use out of. The Craftsman 19.2V Cordless drill is great dependable drill of its type and price.

Downside is the weight but is compensated for the handle for heavier drilling. I suggest getting ther Li-Ion Battery.

The Craftsman 19.2 V Cordless Drill is Powerful. We have built a kitty condo, a dog house, and are currently working on a headboard for our bed. This machine really packs a punch. The battery lasts extremely long and we are very pleased with it thus far. I would recommend this cordless drill to anyone....

I have used this drill when building a new garage, amazed at how long it held its charge. Plenty of power and survived a drop. Typical Craftsman quality....
