This review is for the Craftsman Cordless 19.2v Drill/Driver. If you are the average do-it-yourselfer, these two tools will provide you with all the power you are going to need. For most jobs the drill will provide you will more power than you will ever need by itself. For tougher jobs, the driver may be needed. In fact, this set can be too powerful at times that it strips the screws, although you can minimize this by using the variable speeds - start at the lowest speed you can and keep going higher until you reach the lowest speed that does the job. For the driver, don't force it too much and just let the tool do the work. The 19.2 volt batteries stay charged for awhile for the first hundred uses or so and then start to decline rapidly. Better yet, use the new lithium batteries they just came out with. While they are expensive, they last so much longer and far surpass the regular ones. Overall you will be very pleased with this set.

My name is Michelle. I just moved into my own apartment one year ago! There was of course a lot of little jobs to do to make the apartment feel at home. My dad had recieved a Craftsman cordless drill for Christmas and it really made things much easier to get done. Anything from putting a picture up to fixing odds and ends. Also it made the job easier while putting together my bookshelf. Craftsman cordless drills are easy to use, fairly light weight and extremely portable. They also make many household jobs quick and easy. They also look very streamlined and classy. This Craftsman cordless drill is a great item for anyone to have in their set of tools. It's reasonably priced and I give it 5 stars!

The Craftsman Cordeless 19.2v Drill is an awesome tool to have around when you are a woman with no elbow power. I would recommend it to anyone who needs the extra muscle....

I just replaced the second 19.2V power hand tool battery charger in two years. I just noticed it's made in CHINA! I can get cheap @#&^ at Harbor Freight for a lot less money, and it's closer to my house too! Sears quality means nothing now. I'm very disappointed.

I purchased a 19.2 volt set (Saw, Drill light, rip saw and jig saw) approx 4 years ago. In that me i have had to replace the battries ony once. Also since that time I have purchased many other 19.2 volt tools and to this day am able to get batteries for them with no poblems. I have added two bedrooms on to my house as well as building many peices of furniture, and knock on wood, have had no problems....

Bought my husband one of these for Fathers day and every time you turn around he has to charge the battery. It will not stay charged very long at all....

this 19.2v drill is probably one of the most undependable tools I have ever bought from sears. Last year I bought new batteries and charger. Now the charger is shot and needs to be replaced. I will get another, but it or they will not be from sears or a craftsman...

I am a mechanic by trade. I build boats I bought this set as I use a drill and light all day.The drill works great although as much as i use it I have had the trigger break twice in 3 months but the warrenty covers it and the light is great except when it gets hot its really easy to knock something alitte to hard and blow the light bulb.But over all this is a great set and would tell anyone who needs a powerful drill for a super price to pick up this set. I would buy again for sure....

I've been using Craftsman tools for a shile now and they are very good. You can't beat the quality and you do pay for it but when you need to make that quick fix, the drill is ready to help out....

After many years of buying drills based on the best sale price I could find, a friend suggested Craftman tools at Sears, and in particular, this particular drill. Based on the price/value, the reputation of Craftman tools, and the ease of use, I think I can safely say that I won't be making an annual trip to the home improvement stores to buy another drill. This is definitely a "keeper" and I have no doubt that this tool will be in service for many years to come and long after I'll be doing the seemingly never ending list of home improvment tasks.

This tool is excellent for using anywhere and not having to drag cords out. I use it often. I have had lower voltage cordless drills and screwdrivers, but they do not do the job that the Craftsman 19.2 volt drill does. I actually have two, so I can alternate with different bits and drills instead of having to change them. The newest one has a light which comes in handy occasionally....
