Cover Girl fantastic lash with hydrofuge is a great waterproof mascara. I wear contacts, so waterproof mascara isn't exactly the best thing for me to be using, but this product (when kept away from my contacts) works well. It plumps up my lashes and makes them feel full and thick. I have a hard time removing this product with my eye makeup remover, which is oil-free. I may need to purchase an oil based remover or switch to a non-waterproof mascara. The packaging is sophisticated and works well with the Cover Girl brand. This product helps shape my eyelashes, so that they stay curled all day. I have not had problems with flaking or a noticable difference in my mascara appearance from day to night. I would recommend this product to people who are looking for a waterproof mascara that gives their lashes volume and is made by a trustworthy brand. I purchased the black version and it looks great.

While I was at rite aid picking up a few toiletries I stumbled across this mascara with a sign on top labeled $1.97. At first I wondered why it was so cheap considering the fact that it was about 6 or 7 dollars a few weeks ago. I checked the packaging and it was never opened, great deals don't come often for mascara so I went ahead and bought it. The next day I tried it I was so surprised to see my new lashes. I am calling them my new lashes because I have never seen them that curvy and up there before. I was so shocked, I fell in love with this mascara! I put aside all my expensive mascara to use this one. With a nice eye lash curler this mascara will stay perfect and curved up all day. i definitely suggest this mascara to anyone looking for sexy curled lashes.

I have even received compliments saying they looked false, but nope they are all mine baby!!!!

I have always been trying different mascaras to find the "perfect" one and i guess the search continues! When I applied this product, it clumps easily and when it dries it is very flakey. but the worst is when im washing my face and trying to get the stuff off! i find flakes all over my face and they get into my eyes. they get very irrated and red and feel like they are scratched.

I would NEVER recommend this product to ANYONE!!!

Cover girl fantastic lash is good if you use it for a short period of time. However, if u use it from morning to night, chances are you will get raccoon eyes. I love it because it's waterproof and it doesn't smear, but it does give you that raccoon look if u wear it for too long. It smells bad too :(...

I had heard good things about the CoverGirl Fantastic Lash mascara, so I was decided to try it. I agree with the other reviewers that it doesn't smear. I have even walked out in the rain and come in without the racoon look. My lashes are defined, don't clump, and look beautiful. At least in the morning.

While it does not smear, it flakes horribly. At least once every two weeks, I have to take a contact out and wash out a mascara clump from my eye. By the end of the day I have a fine black look underneath one or both eyes. Also, my standard eyemakeup remover doesn't remove it and the oil stuff aggravates my acne.

Also, I pulled out the brush last week and 1/3 of the bristles had fallen off! Guess it's back to the store to try something else.

I really liked this stuff, but one day I went to put it on and I pulled out just the stick. The brush had come off in the mascara! Grrrrrr.......

note to anyone:don't used after it has been frozen, or, just don't accidently leave it in your car after a snow storm :-D

I bought the cover girl fantastic lash when my last mascera ran out. I was debating between this one and the telascopic, and chose this one being it was on high reccomendation by the store assistant. I didn't really care for it though. I feel like it takes me many coats to achive the look that I want, because it is so thin. I like the brush, but i wish it was just a bit thicker....

I was very surprised with this product. Large brush that curls your lashes as you use the product. During the day about 2 swipes makes a natural looking eye. The for evening add another 2-3 swipes to thicken it up.

I use Revlon makeup remover towels to clean my face before bed. So no trouble there. Amazing that swimming, even a quick shower doesn't destroy the lashes. I have washed off eye shadow but the mascara lives on.

I'm always looking to find better mascara and I finally stumbled across something that's better than the rest! I have very fair skin as well as white eyelashes and eybrows (I was born a "toehead"), so it's very hard to find a product that colors my lashes to add emphasis to my eyes without looking too fake or cakey (I have to apply from root to tip, not just the tip). After a friend suggested I try it, I bought it and tested it out immediately by hitting the gym, then hitting the pool right afterwards. I was worried I might look like a raccoon after those activities, but upon checking myself out in a mirror, I was RELIEVED to find that it hadn't smeared and still looked as fresh as when I put it on that morning. I also really appreciate the fact that it's made by a reliable manufacturer and is also a bargain compared to most makeup....

I just love this mascara. Once I put it on, I don't have to worry about it smearing. I can go swimming, and work out and sweat and it doesn't run down my face. I can even cry and it doesn't smear. I like that it doesn't cost alot and that I can get it at places like Walmart. But it does take an oil based mascara remover to get it off....

I use this mascara almost everyday! I apply it using a plastic card after I curl my eyelashes and it's perfect! The brush separates my lashes like a fan. I love this product. Plus, after I hot the steam room, it does not smear! Many of my friends ask how I can have such nice lashes after a day at the gym and I always recommend this product....
