This is the very simple Cosco booster with no back.

I have used this for my daughter for 10 months. It is very hard!! I bought some foam to slip under the seat pad and she has never complained about it being too hard or uncomfortable, even after long car trips.

For around $15, this is a great deal. I only spent a couple bucks on the foam since I used a 40% off coupon.

The more expensive simple booster's do not have much more padding, and even if the foam costs $5, it is cheaper than the $40 fancy and expensive boosters.
...

The product that I will be talking about in this review is known as the high back booster car seat made by Costco. t is a okay buy if you like the hassle. The back falls off consonantly. It'ss also aggravation, the seat belt holder is to high therefore it is constantly cutting in to my daughters neck. The cup holders on it is not easy to open and definitelynot deep enough to hold any type of drink big or small. If you own a van like I do then it is imposable to get the thing to sit snug in the seat after you fasten the seat belt. I don't really think it is that safe. In many cars the base of it is too wide for the accusalcar seat. Therefore the car seat still wobbles. The cover don't stay on too well either. My baby moves the least little bit and it comes loose. But the biggest problem I have with it is that it has no real good head rest. I thought that was the whole point in having a back to a booster seat. The child head just flops everywhere if she falls to sleep. That...
...

We just bought two of these for our two children both age of three and over the height and weight criteria. We love how easy they assembled and how fast we are able to switch them from vehicle to vehicle. It was such a pain to use a regular car seat that did go up to 65 pounds to transition all the time and the price it was not very affordable to buy four. We love them and the kids feel like big kids and love how they get to wear a regular seat belt like mommy and daddy. The only thing is that for some reason it may be my vehicle that the back of the seat seems to sit lower in the seat and the child sits lower than in a regular car seat. Other than that it is a very good booster seat and the kids love the cup holders. They like to take their cups and put it in them like daddy does with his coffee cup. All in all it was very affordable and easy to assemble and that is alwasy a plus with having three kids under the age of 4. My 1 year old is still in a regular seat but would love to be like...
...

hoolihan1971 says "This Cosco Booster Seat is wonderful for trips." about Cosco High Rise Booster

I would like to comment on the Cosco High Rise Booster Seat. We just recently switched my granddaughter from a traditional car seat that was suppose to "grow with her". The old one was very uncomfortable and the seatbelt harness always cut into her shoulder area. With this new carseat it has a special seatbelt strap holder that directs the seatbelt lower across her chest. This allows her to move her arms around and her neck without feeling like the seatbelt was cutting into her skin. She is much more enjoyable in the car now. The new booster also comes with cup holders which is a very handy thing to have. I can remember countless trips where her drink was spilled onto my car interior because she couldn't hold it due to her size. I really wish that this type os seat was available when my children were younger. Its easy to move from one car to another. That might be my favorite feature. No more struggling with complicated anchors.
...

emiah02 says "The most wonderful, safest invention yet!" about Cosco High Rise Booster

I am currently writing a review for a cosco high rise booster seat. As a mother of two I know how important safety is and I only use the best for my children when it comes to that. I have found that cosco products always work the best for me. They are easy to install the baby car seat as well as the high rise booster seat. My youngest just stop using the baby car seat and it has been thoroughly tested by him. I found the car seat to be great to use and easy to clean up. Now that my son has turned one he is in the high back booster seat and loves it. He just sits there and is happy that he can look out the window finally. My eldest, my daughter who is now three&********* the no back booster seat and will not travel without out. Both of their seats have convient cup holders that I personally love as well as easy strap to hook the seat belts into. The straps make the seat belts more comfortable for the kids as well as making them safe without them having to make a big fuss. Thank you cosco...
...

I am reviewing a Cosco high back booster seat that my daughter has an has had for quite some time now. We purchased two different ones of these brands of car seats one from walmart and one from target. They are both very very cute car seats but one has no padding hardly whatsoever and the other has alot of padding. I bought the one without the paddng first and thought it may be to hard for her and to me it just wasnt safe enough so i got the new one with the thicker padding well in the new one which does tilt and i have tried tilting the car seat or reclining whatever you wanna call it but i have tried it and it doesnt help when my daughter falls asleep her head falls over i mean straight down to and wont sit any other way but falling down which by the time she wakes up is killing her neck. I have tried everything i know to do to try to prevent this as i want to keep the carseat for the thicker padding and such but i am going to now have to buy yet another now because this one to...
...

Marie12345 says "Cosco Highrise Booster Seat" about Cosco High Rise Booster

We just got a new vehicle and I wanted to get my son a seat he could ride in. In our old car, we have a car seat that goes up to 65 pounds. Car seats are very expensive so I decided since he was big enough (over 40 pounds and over 40 inches) that it was time for a booster seat.

I bought the Cosco Highrise Booster Seat at Wal-mart and it was only $16! My husband put it in the car and my son sat in it. He loves it! He feels like such a big boy now! it boosts him up so he can now use the seat belt in our car. He seems to be very comfortable in the seat and very happy. The only problem I see with it is that if he wiggles around enough (which all kids do) he can move the belts out of place and get them too close to his neck (which isn't a good thing). Since buying this seat I've found that there are attachments you can buy for any booster seat that keeps the belt away from their neck and in the proper place so that's all I'll need.

I was very happy with the fabric variety offered by Cosco....
...

The Cosco High Rise Booster Car Seat met all the needs that I was looking for in a car seat. It has the safety features that were recommended by family and friends. Also comfort features that were important. The five point harnass is easy to use, but the strap to adjust the tention is alitte hard to use, We, my husband and I, really like the sides of the car seat, our son likes to fall asleep in the car and the padded sided craddles his head, so he does not wake up with a soar neck. I also like this car seat because it adjusts with my son as he grows. It will become a booster seat once he has out grown the weight and height requirements mentioned in the manual. This feature was very important to us because of having a tight budget. We did not have to purchase a new seat. If a mom-to-be was to ask my opinion, I would absolutely suggest this car seat, and believe me, I researched many car seats.
...

The top clip is not difficult for me to use but my daughter hasn't figured it out yet - which is the way I want it. I've also used it as a booster and I was satisfied with the way the buckle looped through and stayed in place. I also like the strap on the bottom that allows me to add a little slack or tighten it a little. I think that's a really important feature - especially in this season when my kid may be wearing a jacket one day and none the next and also if you use the car seat for different kids that are similar but not exactly the same size. I have another car seat without that and I find that sometimes I can't get it closed because it's too tight and sometimes there's too much slack.
...
