I purchaced this seat for my granddaughter to be. I have friends with small children also. This seat is so easy to use- to modify the shoulder straps all you have to do is press two levers on either side of the head rest and either pull up or push down. The harness is easy to use.

The draw back is that it is difficult to install rear facing (I used an infant seat for my granddaughter).
...

When my daughter out grew her infant carseat I knew that I did not want to have to keep buying new carseats, so I looked for carseats that were going to last until she was big enough to safely sit in a seat unaided. That meant that the carseat needed to last until she was 8 or 80lbs. After compairing fifteen or twenty or so seats we decided to go with this one. It was reasonably priced and had decent reviews online. The seat has a decent amount of cushioning, and a detachable pillow for the comfort of your child. It has a five-point harness for use while rear-facing or forward facing as a car seat. It has an adjustable head-rest. When your child has out-grown using this seat as a carseat it turns into a seat-belt positioning booster seat. It is easy to buckle and there is no rethreading the shoulder straps when your child gets taller, because it has handles the help the headrest move up and down. The two downsides that I have noticed to this seat, are that it is hard...
...

As the mom of three children (ages 4, 2, and 2), I would definitely recommend the Alpha Omega Elite carseat to parents of children aged newborn to approximately 3 years old. It is comfortable, easy to clean, and not too hard to get in and out of the car. I love that you can adjust the length of the shoulder straps without having to take the carseat out - just push a button, and, voila - the straps are adjusted! This definitely makes things easier when you have multiple children using the same carseat (my son sometimes wants to sit in his sister's seats (and vice versa).

Even though this carseat is touted as able to be converted to a high-back booster, I wouldn't recommend it. My son, who is almost 4, no longer fits in it comfortably so we ended up having to buy a Graco high back booster to replace his beloved Alpha Omega Elite. Even knowing this, I would definitely recommend this carseat to a friend (in fact, I have!).
...

this is the best for the price, especially since I've had not had to buy another one. she's been in the same car seat since she was 9 months old and almost going on 4. Good Fit as well
...

The costco alpha omega elite carseat and toddler seat is by far the best value for your money. I purchased this seat on sale at target for about $150 with a ten percent off coupon (this was given to me becaue it was on my baby resgistry and i had things not purchased from the gift registry) when my son was 6 months old beacuse he was at 20 pounds and i knew his infant carseat would only last to 23 pounds. after installing it in our hyundai sonata i wished i bought it from day one bringing him home from the hospital. my son was by far more comfortable in it and i felt he was safer due to the fact the seat stayed installed and secure. the latch hooks are easy to put on also. i bought another for my other car, a ford focus, and it fit just as well in that car. some reviews state if you have a back seat that is small then this seat wont work for you, but we keep it in the middle and have never had any problems. when he turned one, we were able to turn it around, and all the sudden...
...

The Alpha Omega Elite Car Seat has been a fabulous purchase for our little girl who is currently 13 months. We have been using the seat for just over 1 month. (We used an infant car seat until she was one.)

Things we have NOT liked: Heavy if you are moving from car to car (about 18 pounds), babies head falls forward when she falls asleep (no head support), buckling in takes a bit of time and is a little difficult to loosen and tighten the straps.

Things we LIKE: The seat itself is very stable and secure in our vehicle (no movement), our little girl is secure with the 5-point harness, has very comfortable straps for her, the whole seat is cushiony and comfortable, removable and washable fabric, high safety ratings, not too pricey, has a removable cup holder, the entire harness system is easily adjusted to the size of the child when you first adjust it and as they grow.

I would recommend this car seat mostly for front facing. We did try to install it rear facing and it did not seem...
...

I bought this car seat for my little girl and loved it so much that I bought another one for my son so they both have one! It looks and feels so comfortable, great cushion and I love the black color of mine. I love that it is rear facing or front facing since I need both right now! Out of the 4 brands of car seats I've purchased this one by far is my favorite....

We bought 2 of these car seats for my son when he was born. He is now 4 1/2 & it's held up great.

The Cosco Alpha Omega is able to sit rear facing for new babies & then turn around to face forward for babies who are over 1 year of age.

This seat also converts to a booster seat. You'll never have to buy another car seat!!
...

My daughter loves her car seat and it fits our vehicle & lifestyle perfectly. It's a great car seat that will grow with her. We plan on keeping her rear-facing for as long as possible and already, I don't see a reason that won't work out. I love that it will convert from rear-facing to forward-facing to a booster seat. Both Grandma's have purchased one for their car and we bought another for day-care. Love it! Great value! Great car seat!
...

We got this carset for our daughter when she outgrew her infant seat. I liked the fact that this could potentially be the only carseat she'll ever need since it can be a booster for kids up to 100 pounds. I will say that I like it much better forward facing as opposed to when we had it rear facing due to ease of adjusting the straps. When rear facing, it was hard to pull at the right angle to tighten. But, that is not a worry when facing forward. The other thing I really like about this seat is that I can adjust the shoulder strap height without having to undo straps and rethread. One lever can be pulled to raise and lower...making it possible to do without taking it out of your car. My daughter loves her cup holder and entertains herself taking her sippy cup in and out of it! The fabric is easy to clean and is soft, too, which is nice since my daughter has sensitive skin and eczema.
...
