I needed a new curling iron, my last one broke, so I saw the Conair Instant Heat, and I bought it thinking it would last longer than my previous ones did , I was right, it has out lasted my previous irons, and still working great. It heats instantly and has an adjustable heating **** to adjust the heat from 1 to 25 it also has turbo button, although I never needed to use that button. I really love the safety feature I can forget to turn it off and it will go off on its own after a certain time, I was glad to have this feature because alot of times Im rushed and may forget to unplug it, or turn it off, now I dont have to worry that I may have left my curling iron on and have to make a trip back home to check. Also the cord turns when your iron does because it has a **** on the end that&*********** around allowing freedom from tangled cords, my hair dont get as frizzy or burned or dry like other irons used to make my hair look because I can adjust the heat.
...

I LOVE my new Conair Instant Heating Curling Iron! It gets hot so fast, I don't have to wait around waiting for it to curl my hair. The barrel is the perfect size for my personal styling needs. I am always in a rush either preplanned or spur of the moment I have to do my hair before I go anywhere. This innovative Conair product has saved me quite a few words with the hubby, who hates to wait for me to do my hair, lol. he cord twists around so that it does not get all tangled up, this also saves me time and spats. Anyone with my kind of life style or always on the go should definately purchase one of these. The price was also very reasonable, great value for the money invested.
...

Conair products are ok, the hair blower works good on my hair. The curling iron works well on my hair type. It heats up quickly.. I don't however like the tangling of the cord. I have used one in the past where the handle has come off, that is not good..It is a safety issue.
...

I don't know what it is about curling irons, but they just don't seem to last. I seem to buy a new one at least every few years, if not more often. Because of that, I resist spending a lot of money on new ones, as I could spend double or triple the money, but it doesn't mean they're going to last any longer. This time I went with the Conair Instant Heat Curling Iron, and truth be told, I think I've used it before, but it wasn't my last one, so it didn't make me rush out and buy it again the next time, so that tells you something.

Using it this time, I find that it heats up really well. We all know what the danger is of curling irons that heat up really hot and fast, but after nearly thirty years of curling iron use, I feel like my neck should be immune to that. Besides, with these curling irons with multiple settings via dial, I just always go to the highest one anyway. There's also an added option for Turbo Heat, but I haven't found where that made a lick of difference to use it, although...
...

picked up this curler in Wal Mart 10 years ago for about $12. It works wonderfully, heats fast, makes beautiful curls and doesn't snatch my hair out. I am a black woman with shoulder length hair and this curler straightens the hair from the root to the tip when I pull it through in small sections. I am then able to go back and curl it up for body and bounce. It gets hot!! When my first one broke after 3 years of use, I went out and spent $$$ on ceramic, gold n hot, and all types of overpriced styling tools. A few weeks and fuzzy hairstyles later I went back and copped my Conair Instant heat, and I was back in business. When I travel, I take these curlers, a silk scarf, satin rollers and my favorite moisturizer. That's all I need because I can straighten and curl with this. One last thing to add, ladies get some of the satin sponge rollers. After you make your body curls, keep them fresh with the satin sponge rollers, just wrap your curls around them and cover up. In the morning...
...

I thought it looked interesting. Switching from curling iron to flat iron is easy but it's awkward to get used to using. Bulky and very clumsy to use. I've burned my forehead several times!

I'd say not recommended. Either get a curling iron or get a flat iron but 2 in one is just too awkward and dangeous to your skin....

The curling iron heats up very quickly, and curls wonderfully. The 25 different heat settings are nice features, and my curls last all day. However- be careful not to bump your skin, as the iron can get VERY hot and can quickly and easily burn your skin. I have never burned my hair with the iron though. I have two sizes of these curling irons and love them both- the 1/4" and 1" barrels. ...

I have used Conair hair appliances since I was a teen. Understandably, because of their price, they are not top quality, last-forever types of appliances. The hair dryers last longer than the curling irons do- I've had my current one about 7 years. The last curling iron was the same size as this one and lasted about 3 years til it literally fell apart.
However, I bought this one in December - just two months ago - and two days ago the heating element simply went out. One minute I was fixing my hair, the next it felt cooler, then cooler, and finally no heat at all. I was seriously disappointed. It wasn't a great $ loss but I'm pretty disappointed in the brand. I bought a new curling iron last night- this time a ceramic one, different brand. Maybe that particular one was a dud but I really don't have time or money to test that theory....

Heats up quickly. Curls easily without the cord tangling up. Cools quickly, and if you forget to unplug it, it turns off. Twenty-five curl settings. Curls stay all day. Price for the product is good. Quality, mine has lasted for over 4 years, so far. Quick and simple to use. I bought two. One for myself, and one for my daughter who lives at home. ...

In the beginning I really loved my curling iron. When my hair gets to a point that it does not want to hold a curl, this curling iron would do the trick. Little did I know, while getting the curl in my hair, I was taking the moisture out of my hair. The curling iron was burning my hair. Making the ends of my hair frizzy and I hate having frizzy hair.

I won't say don't buy the curling iron. I will say, don't use the heat just because it's there. Be careful how hot you have your curling iron.
...

This product is reliable and delivers consistent results. I don't go on vacation without it. It heats well and you can adjust the settings from 1 to 25 for more control. The price is great too. I picked mine up at a local drugstore and figured it would not last for more than a few months. I have had mine for about 2 years now and I still use it about 3 times a week. Great buy....

Love my Conair Instant Heat curling iron. I am always in a hurry it seems, so it is nice that my iron is hot by the time I am done blow drying. Heat is adjustable from 1-25. I keep mine set right in the middle which is perfect for me. Haven't had the need for the turbo ability because it does a fantastic curl without it.
...
