We stayed at the Pinnacle July 2009. We had an oceanfront efficiency and were on the 16th floor. I didn't like the balcony because it had a flower garden in front of it, making it hard to get a full view of the ocean (since we were so far up). The room itself was nice,very clean. The maid service wan't great because they came at a different time every day. Three times they knocked while we were still sleeping, once they didn't come until 4 pm, kind of annoying.

They layout of the resort is irritating, you can tell that the buildings used to be separate and bought to make the Compass Cove. The pools are fun and clean, it's just hard to get to all of them.

Overall, it was a good deal. We booked on hotwire, so it was considerably cheaper than going through the hotel. I don't think we'll stay again, just because of the layout of the place.

We stayed at the Compass Cove and I thought it was a decent place. The only thing I didnt like was the large windows that were in the hallway. It wasnt that we were worried about people seeing inside of our rooms, it was that at night you could see them and hear them very well. But overall I thought it was well worth the money....

I hesitate to write this review, because this place is almost too good to share. I've seen mixed reviews, but I saw only the good. It was a little pricey, but there was a lot to do with the family. ...

We stayed at Compass Cove in 2006 and while it nice and I did like it, they were doing construction the entire time we were there on the building next to us and it was a little noisy. One of the pools was not in use due to the construction and it would have been nice to have about it prior to booking. This was actually our second stay there and the first was better but overall I liked it. We had a one bedroom with a full kitchen and one bath. There was five of us and we had enough room but sharing the one bath was less than desirable. Could be more parking but it had plenty of pools, hot tubs, and lazy rivers so the kids really enjoyed it without wanting to leave to have something to entertain them! Overall a good place to stay with kids and a pretty good value....
