I purchased my Compaq Presario laptop a little over a year ago, and thus far I have had no issues with the computer itself. I would have to say that it is one of the better laptops that I have purchased. I like the memory space that it provides, and I think that it is built tough. I mean, anything that can handle my four children must be something worth talking about right? I'm just kidding, but it really has been a very pleasant experience for a computer. I do not think that I would have it any other way. I am able to download the things that I need on a daily basis for my school work, and I do not have any problems with running out of space. A friend of mine has a dell, and she just bought it, but all of the time it tells her that her memory is low. I personally have never ran into this problem..I am glad that I bought a Compaq! I would definitely recommend this product to my friends and family.

Now about the Compaq Presario Notebook Computer All of my home computers so far except one have been Compaq computers that I purchased in stores mainly at (bust buy). I didn't plan to just purchase Compaq it just worked out that way because they seem to have evey thing i need included at the time that im looking for one . I have been reasonably satisfied with my previous Compaqs they are realy good coumputers, Now i have had one problem with it so far but it was something i had done to it but eventually you will always have a problem with them to one degree or another, often dealing with not enough memory but the Compaq Presario Notebook Computer is alot better However, my present laptop is my first Presario and i love it . My little Presario that I have been using since June has worked like a dream. I have no problems and complaints what soever. Based on this Presario, I don't feel I will switch to another brand or model for my next laptop. I would recommend...

This computer is very nice looking, and easy to use It is a Compaq Presario Notebook, I just got it yesterday, It works very good on wireless can pickup signals, has a wide screen,good to watch music videos and get your e-mails,write books, or what ever. It is better to get at Aarons Sales and Leasing, Rent to own I have 2 Laptops .I use my computer every day and at night. Hours of relaxing and playing games on Compaq Presario Notebook,Go out and get one,Buy one for yourself or family member, even for Birthday,or for Christmas.

The last few years, I have been using a standard desktop computer. It was a hassle, having to be in only one area, not to mention the back problems I had sitting in the chair for a number of hours. Three months ago, I purchased a Compaq Notebook Computer. I have nothing but possitive remarks about this product. Both my husband and I use the Personal Computer everyday. We now refuse to use the Desktop. The PC is so convient and easy to use.The Compaq Notebook Computer is light weight I can carry it anywhere. I use this computer sitting on my Bed and I can sit there for hours, with no pain in my back .As for the cost of the computer, I was able to use the option rent to buy. I definately have the plan to buy, It is well worth the money. I highly recommend a Compaq Presario for everyone and for any use. There are many uses for this product. Buisness, school, Financial Planning or just for everyday fun. You can play DVD's at the touch of a button or get online and go to your favorite Television...

Have been using the Compaq Presario for several months now and it has given me all that I have needed in a computer.I have fifteen to twenty e-mail per day and I have done searching on Google for many and various topics. Also I have been able to keep up with the news both national and local in a very fine manner.

Being retired I do spend about two to three hours per day on the internet. I am able to do surveys for some small remuneration and other duties of an organizational nature.

The cost at at a large office store was quite reasonable and I took the two year warranty as recommended by the store clerk. The only problem so far has been a software problem. And this has required some service calling and one trip to the office store service.

The problem was an incompatibility on I.E. eight with some of the soft ware. I was told that M.S. has a fix for this and will be coming out with it soon.

Not withstanding I am still quite satisfied with my H.P. Compaq...

I find the Compaq laptop computer ( Microsoft Windows XP, Home Edition, Version 2002, service Pack 3. The Intel Pentium processor 1.60GHz, 989 MHz, 504 MB of Ram) to be the best quick easy access for your every need. My family uses our Compaq's computer on a daily bases for music, movies, emailing, news, sports, games, white pages, school work, working from home, making cards/tags/designs for shirts, finding anything you need, ect... I have found the laptop is easy for travel also, anytime we go anywhere on a trip or vacation whether it be for working at home, personal use, finding jobs/posting your resume, watching movies/ watching movie previews, shopping for groceries/clothes/gifts, planning a vacation, or just playing games we take it with us and have easy access to wireless access which is built right into the computer. The sound and resolution is great too, I would Highly Recommend this laptop to anyone for any use they desire.

My husband bought me a Compaq Presario Notebook Computer for my birthday. I am not the best on the computer, or I should say I use to not be all that great at it. The Compaq Nootbook has been very easy to learn on. In fact now my husband complains that maybe Im on the computer a little to much now. With the economy the way it is I have really put my computer to work on bargain hunting. It has almost become like a game bargain hunting and even coupon shopping. The Compaq Nootbook has been the best gift. It has made learning so easy. I feel really comfortable useing it.

The Compaq Presario Notebook computer is a very good computer for the price. I had never had a notebook computer before and didn't have alot of money to put into one at the time. I found it on sale after Thanksgiving for an extremely good price and decided to invest in one. I have not had any technical issues with computer. I don't do alot on the computer. I read my email everyday, I search the web, download my family pictures, etc. I have not had any issues with it whatsoever. It took me a little bit to get used to the keyboard because I had never used a notebook before. But after getting used to it, I love it. I have only one complaint with it, the battery does not last long enough. Only lasts for a little over an hour without being plugged to power. This is okay for the way that I use computer but may not be for other people. Other than that, It is a great little computer.

The compaq presario notebook was a total disappointment. I purchased it from Best Buy as a gift. I did not realize until later that the battery life was not good on the computer. I tried best buy to exchange it, they refused. The store has terrible customer service. Nobody wants to hear your problems. They only want to sell you the item and be done with it. I tried to contact compaq directly. No response. I am never buying another computer from best buy and certainly not compaq.

However, I have to admit that it is great for the price. If you are just going use e-mail and internet. May be some basic functions then this is all you need. It is light. It is user friendly. It does not look hip like Apple laptops but it does the job. Buyers, please invest in a virus protection. I do not know all pc's just come virus protection.

Perhas Lenovo, HP and Dell can come out with something inexpensive and better.

I have had the Compaq Presario Notebook Computer for two years now and it is still a perfect fit for me. I used it for college to take to class. It fit perfectly in my bag and the battery lasts for a few hours. I could easily make it threw two classes before i had to plug it in. At which point, i could plug it in during a lunch break and come back and it has full power again. Since college, i have used it to travel with. I have taken it on several airplanes and road trips and its great to watch movies or play games on. It is also very durable. My laptop has gone with me to several places. Its been sat on the ground, taken to the beach, tossed in the back seat and slid across the carpet by the cord and yet, it still works perfectly. To give you a better idea, we currently have three computers in our house and the two of us are constantly arguing over who gets to used the laptop.

I am the proud owner of the Compac Presario Notebook Computer. I recieved the laptop for Christmas last year from my husband. I do alot of searching teacher websites for individual work for the students in my classroom, as I work in a therapeutic school with children with severe autism. The computer I was doing my work on was shared with my husband who needs to do is own work using that computer. Instead of interrupting him now, I just pull out my laptop and relax on the couch while I search for individualized work for my students. This laptop is very user friendly, as I did not know much aout computers before I got this laptop. I love having this laptop.

So, I have a laptop. I have had it for about two years now. I really like it. It is made by Compaq Presario and it is a C300 widescreen. It is able to have windows vista on it, i did have in installed, but it did not run very well on it. the graphics were all messed up and it was very slow with vista on it. even though it says it can handle vista, do NOT install it on this laptop... it will not handle it well at all. Here are some positive things that i think about the laptop:

-it is fast

-it's easy to use

-the screen is large

-the resolution is very nice

-is is a good package deal

-it's durable (I've dropped it a few times and held it by the screen and it's still here... so it's quite well made!)

-it also has a nice mouse touch pad complete with scrolling vertically and horizontally touch areas... i use those frequently.

Just a few things I don't like about it are:

-its weight

-it's shape

it could be a bit sleeker and better designed, but overall this laptop is a durable...
