This is good coffee up against major standard brands, but is not a complex roast like Jelk's coffees. I tend to get it after transport & storage is too long. It might be better if you acquire in New Orleans area....

Community Coffee is one of my favorite brands of coffee. Each cup of brewed coffee brings me back to Royal street, with its smooth, inviting taste. I buy Community Coffee wherever it is sold. Community Coffee manages to blend rich coffee aromas with reminiscent Big Easy flavor. If I could only get my hands on a beignet with each cup, I'd be in heaven!...

Croupier says "Add hot milk and you've got the perfect coffee." about Community New Orleans Blend

Community Coffee New Orleans Blend is the reason my friends always look forward to coming over for coffee. It's what drags me out of bed at 7:30 every morning. It's the coffee that makes people ask me, "What kind of coffee is this?" It's fantastic!

Community Coffee New Orleans Blend has long been a staple of my morning routine. I brew the coffee double-strength (two tablespoons per six ounces of water instead of one tablespoon per six ounces) while I heat up milk. The milk is best heated on the stove, but the microwave will do as well. I mix the coffee with the milk until the coffee shows an orange undertone. That's when I know it's ready.

The first sip is bold (from the double-strength brewing) and smooth (from the milk). But it's the chicory that makes the New Orleans Blend so special; it offers a fullness that, no matter how many years I've been drinking it, is still a little surprising every time.

Settlers in Louisiana began adding chicory root to their coffee grounds to make the coffee......
