It seems that every week the toothpaste manufacturers are coming out with a different type of toothpaste. Most of the time, however, they don't seem to perform any better than the version they replaced. Still, I was curious to try the newest toothpaste on the store shelf, Colgate Whitening with Oxygen Bubbles.

The active ingredient that creates the bubbling effect is the added peroxide. The ingredient list also includes fluoride and baking soda, which can be found in almost every other toothpaste. The only remarkable property of Colgate with Oxygen Bubbles is that the tingling sensation that is supposed to be refreshing. Instead of a whitening, refreshing feeling, it felt like the fires of Hell had erupted inside of my mouth. I couldn't stand it for longer than 30 seconds, and my gums felt very sore and tender afterward. I thought perhaps my reaction was a fluke, and I tried the toothpaste again a few days later, with the same results.

Its ok, and on a scale from 1-10, i would give it an 8, i mean it does not whiten your teeth or anything, but it does make your breath smells good for a long period of time, and i prefer it over any other kind of toothpaste out there....

this product is very inexpensive but works okay for the price. the taste is not very nice and I am sure there are other products that would work and taste better for just slightly more money...

It has an alright taste but doesnt do much but freshen your breath. If your looking to whiten your teeth this is not the tooth paste for you....

Colgate with baking soda is not the greatest but neither is it the worst. It does what it says it does nothing more, nothing less. It's reasonably priced and has been a faithful asset in maintaining clean and healthy teeth.

Sure it isn't a magical cure all for bad teeth but it doesn't advertise itself to be. Combined with a good toothbrush, great flossing, and refreshing mouthwash Colgate definitely serves it's purpose.
