I've been using Clinique Take The Day Off eye makeup remover for over 4 years now and must say it is the most gentle one I've used and always reach for. I have gotten a little bit of product in my eyes on two occasions and did not feel any stinging or irritation. Not that I suggest getting it in your eyes! I find a bit of tissue paper or a q-tip applicator works well in applying the product. I notice it works best with my eyeshadow and eyeliner. Mascara I don't like to remove in this method since it seems to take many passes no matter which type of eye makeup remover you use. For mascara I recommend removing in the shower with just some warm water to dissolve, working slowly to avoid getting the makeup into your eyes.

Another great thing about Take The Day Off is how long this bottle lasts. I have been using the same one for many months and find a little bit goes a long way. It will remain a staple on my beauty dresser for a long time!

I am a big fan of clinique. When they say non-hypoalergenic they really mean it. Before a product comes out it undergoes rigerous testing. If one of the test individuals has a bad reaction to the product, they do nt release it. They go back to the drawing board. This product gets an A++ from me. It is not greasy or oily. Your eye make-up will be removed with no effort. Clinique is not the least expensive product out there but if you are on a budget I suggest pairing your purchases with cliniques bonus with purchase times. You can sign up for email and/or text message alets for when there is a bonus time at one of your local stores. Sign up for thier email list. They offer bonuses as well as other discounts and specials online too. I spend about $120 a year on clinique and pair my purchases with sales, discounts and bonuses. I always have morethan enough make-up and even give away quite a bit of the free items I get, because I already have too much :)

I absolutely love Clinique's "Take The Day Off Makeup Remover". I am a 27 year old paramedic who works for the fire department. Just because I am only 1 of 4 women working in a department of 55 men (obviously a women in a man dominated field) doesn't mean that I don't like to look my best. However, I am a very busy person and always on the go. I only have a little time to look as good as possible, so whenever I find a product that makes things simple and quick, I am a happy girl. Clinique's makeup remover is just that...quick and effective. It takes the makeup off without having to scrub all my skin off in the process. It is also gentle and doesn't cause me to break out - something that is very important to me, as my skin is very sensitive to different products. Another thing I love about it is that if I accidently get it in my eyes, it doesn't burn or sting like many soapy products. Just apply a little bit to a cotton ball, a few swipes and no more makeup! I am a big fan of Clinique Everything!! They make excellent products that are actually good for the skin! Take Off the Day Makeup Remover is just one example. You just swipe the cotton ball gently over the eyes, face, or lips and it gently removes makeup. I like this because as I get older the skin under my eyes is getting thinner and not so tight (boo hoo!) and Take Off the Day is gentle enough for my eyes and does not cause irritation.

I used this product years ago but used other brands for the past few years because it is a little costly. Anything but this clinique is second best because this gets all of the make up off- even the really thickly-done eye makeup will come right off your face. It's really good for people like me who have sensitive skin. For awhile I had acne AND sensitive skin and this product allowed me to wear makeup without stressing my face out in an additional way.

The con to this product is the cost- mine was about $18. But if you are going to do something, you should do it right, should you not? I could buy one or two bottles of some other eye makeup remover from Walgreens or Walmart but they would not be as good as clinique's. By the way, Clinique does not test on animals, so you can feel guilt-free when you take your makeup off at the end of the day- no bunnies were harmed in the process of keeping you beautiful. Try it!

I like it, it works well, but if you don't want to wash your whole face after using, you're out of luck. I think it feels more oily than others I've tried.

Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover is the best makeup remover I have ever used. It removes your makeup without having to rub your skin. It gets the job done. And, I also like it because after using it; it almost feels like it conditions your skin. I have oily skin with some dry spots and it helps out the dry spots. I like to follow that up with the Clinique Soap. I think it helps suds up the soap much more also. I have also used it to remove eye makeup. It works great. Don't have to rub there either. I would recommed this to every woman who wants their skin to be soft and subtle. And anyone who wants an easy time while washing their makeup off. Clinique has many wonder products to use. This is just one great one. The makeup remover is a must have for any woman on the go and who is always in a hurry. It is really fast to use.

I use a variety of Clinique products and recently bought this makeup remover and have used it step by step as the directions say. My cotton balls are always colored with the different colors of my makeup, but it never gets it all off. I use my normal facial cleanser after I use the Clinique makeup remover and some of it is still leftover. This happens with or without waterproof mascaras and eye liners. I like the ease of use of the remover, there is no bad or harsh smell to it and it leaves an oily feel after its used. It is expensive, and in my case--not worth the cost.

It must be a couple of years now that I have been using Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for lids, lashes and lips. I keep a full-size bottle at home, but love those free samples bottles for traveling.

The product

The makeup remover comes in a clear plastic bottle with the Clinique logo on it. I always smell a product first and it has a light astringent smell to it. I use either a cotton ball or a Kleenex tissue folded into a small square. I then apply a little of the remover to this.

This is a great product that takes off mascara, eye shadow, and lipstick. I find very few products that will remove all of my mascara. This one does just that. Make sure that you don't use too much otherwise it will leave you with a greasy or oily feeling. When I take my lipstick off with it, my lips feel as if I have just applied a lip balm to them.

This is a product that I love and would recommend to anyone. It is expensive, so look out for the free sample deals,...

I have super sensitive skin and find that most make-up removers burn my eyes whenever I take my make-up off. Clinque is the first (and so far, only) make-up remover i've found that does not burn my eyes when I use it. It may be a little pricey but it's well worth it and it really does last a long time. I highly reccomend Clinique Take the Day off Make-Up remover to anyone with dry or sensitive skin. It works really well and is really gentle.

clinique take the day off makeup remover is the most amazing makeup remover i have ever used! it easily takes off my makeup. i love using it around my eyes for my eyeliner and eyeshadow and its great because it doesn't burn or anything. it makes my skin feel great and clean afterwards. this makeup remover can be used all over your face and it's great and super easy to use. it doesn't require using a million q-tips or cotton balls just one or two will pretty much accomplish the task. clinique products tend to be more expensive than drugstore brands and although most of their products are overpriced, i feel this product is totally worth the price. after using this makeup remover i will never use another one until they get rid of this one! most makeup removers will leave your skin feeling super oily, but this clinique one feels your skin leaving refreshed and beautified! i love it and will continue to use it! buy it!

Clinique's Take the Day Off Makeup Remover is one of my must-have beauty products. I think it's definitely better than Clinique's other makeup removers. It takes off the most stubborn waterproof mascara easily! It's also not oily like a lot of other makeup removers. I recommend this to anyone who wears a lot of eye makeup. It is a little pricey but it is definitely worth it. Each bottle lasts at least a few months so I think you get your money's worth. This product is also extremely effective and quick. I don't have to scrub my lashes to get the mascara off - just gently dabbing my lashes with a cotton ball does the trick. This product is great for sensitive skin. I haven't had any problems with irritation on my face or my eyes. This product is also not drying at all. My biggest worry about using some eye makeup removers is damaging or drying out my eyelashes but this product does not do that at all.

I absolutely love this product!!! my mom had always used it and bought it for me for christmas along with other clinique products and i immediately fell in love with it. Even after my shower when i felt like i had gotten ALL of my makeup off and my face was "CLEAN" , as soon as i used this make-up remover i could see all the makeup that was still left on my face. It was amazing and i am so glad that i was introduced to this product. My face feels clean and fresh after i use this and that is exactly what i want. Other makeup removers can be oily and greasy but this one is completely opposite which i love. It also removes makeup without having to scrub and rub at your face, creating redness and irritation. That used to drive me insane but now that i found a product that works great for me, i will never have to deal with that again. It so great and i would dfefinitely recommend it to anyone!
