Best home color system I have ever used! That is saying a lot because I have used everything under the sun. Really. I’ve been coloring my hair to cover up gray since I was in my mid 30's and over the years it hasn’t gotten any easier. I can hardly stay on top of it. The color of this product was true, very easy to apply, especially with the comb attachment. My hair was so soft, not dry or frizzy at all. Totally covered my few stubborn grays. I used the Medium Ash Brown and it was the perfect shade. Best part, it only took 10 minutes!! How cool is that? One disadvantage is unless you sport a length only slightly longer than Sinade O'Connor, your bathroom will be splattered with haircolor. Application was a snap, the color is beautiful even though it faded a little (I think they all do), and I love the conditioner. It made my hair very soft and full (I have a lot of hair but it's very fine, so most conditioners leave it limp and nasty-looking). I am recommending this to all...
...

I have been doing hair for years. I mean, gosh, I have been doing hair since I was in high school. I remember my best friend sobbing because I told her that I was going to make her look like Farrah Fawcet and I did. PERFECTLY. Apparently she did not like Farrah, and it never occured to her that I would actually succeed with her hair in doing what I promised.

One of the people whose hair I work on regularly is a male who has been prematurely gray for a long time. He needs to maintain a darker haircolor for the workplace since there is a bit of a bigotry against gray hair and any other *aging* factor in the workplace.

I have used just about every hair dye out there at one time or another from professional to over the counter. I have not been very impressed with many of the brown hair dyes. They are often too brassy or too red in their composition. His hair is on the ashy side which you would think would dye up nicely, but for some reason, no matter what brown we put on him,...
...

Clairol Perfect 10 is just that Perfect 10. For years and years I went to the Salon faithfully and had my hair done. It started out I would get it sun-glitzed, then as I got older and the gray started to hit my hairdresser said time to color all over! So for years I went and paid a fortune getting my hair colored, but hey my spouse and I had good jobs and you can't color your hair at home! It will dry it out and turn green!!!! That is what I thought, that it was to hard, after all it would take forever at the salon! Then at 43 tragedy struck my spouse died suddenly, money was tight and I was faced with how do I cut this budget. So a box of Clairol Perfect 10 was one answer. On the Perfect 10 box it said it only took 10 minutes, and it lived up to my expectations. My hair felt just as soft and the color is just as beautiful as it did when I came out of the salon after getting it colored . Clairol Perfect 10 was easy, quick, no mess, no dry hair and no green!!! Now I feel so dumb to have...
...

onefunmom says "Easy to use and pretty color, but my silver shimmers are showing" about Clairol Perfect 10 Hair Color

I'm new to haircolor... just trying to cover up a few "silver shimmers" that are creeping in. I chose Clairol Perfect 10 for my second time ever color job. It was $ 10 on sale.. $3 more than my second choice, but I paid the extra cash because the comb applicator made it look easy to use.

The instructions were easy to follow and the application was really very simple. The color (Medium Golden Brown) gave my dark brown hair just a little extra golden boost... noticable to me, but not my husband : ) The only down side is that my gray's still look a little gray. Not nearly as noticable as before, but I haven't even washed my hair yet.

Sooo... it could be my inexperience and I just needed to leave the color on another 5 minutes... or... maybe I should have saved the $3 and bought the color kit without the groovy comb applicator.

I have tried just about every all over hair color product available over the counter and have had decent results to excellent results. This time my roots were copper blond and the rest of my hair was a dark reddish brown color w/warm tones. I have fair skin, light freckles, hazel eyes to give you an idea of my skin type. I wanted to try something quick and easy that was cheap. The salon was not an option. So I chose Clairol Perfect 10 Medium Auburn. So I bought it on sale for $10.00 and I only bought one box even though i have long dense hair curly hair. I figured since my hair was already dark that 2 boxes would cause super darkness. I did what the directions said to do but I did not use the comb applicator it looked too difficult to use. I waited 10 minutes, rinsed and WOW! I love my hair color result, my roots looked like the box and then it faded beautifully into my darker locks. The only down side is that the chemical smell by coloring had me choking so...
...

I am a brunette who needs a little 'coverage' for my 'first crop' of grays. I used to use Revlon Colorist, and loved it. I got great color, shine and softness, but for some reason it was discontinued. I decided to give this a try, because I have a lot of hair, and wanted something that would save me time, when I dyed my hair. I left this on for 20 minutes to ensure that it would cover my grays, and it was a disaster. It turned my roots red, and left the rest of my hair brittle and dull. This was the worst dye I have ever used, AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE at $12.99. I have been dyeing my hair for 5 years, and am not a rookie. I wasn't attempting to lighten or darken my hair, wasn't adding color-over-color, or using any chemical treatments. I am baffled as to why this dye didn't work well.
...

Clairol Perfect 10 Haircolor is the only colorant I've used that gave me rich color without brassy red tones.
jellibeenz1978 says "Quick hairdye, great color" about Clairol Perfect 10 Hair Color

I purchased the Perfect 10 dye because I wanted to see if it really worked in 10 minutes. Most dyes Ive used had to stay in at least 30 minutes. I have to say, it lives up to its name! It seemed to go by so quick, its not even like dying your hair. The Perfect 10 comes with a nice applicator, to help it get into your hair well. That is probably my favorite part aobut Perfect 10!

The coloring was a sucess! I loved the actual color of my hair, and because it didnt take forever, Im now more confident in doing my own hair! If I can use only 10 minutes of time to make my hair look better and feel better about myself, Im all for that!

Of course, it is a bit more expensive than the other Clairol dyes, but we are talking about a good amount of time shaved off using the Perfect 10 dye! I would definelty buy this again, and since there are always couppons floating around, its an even better deal!
...

The applicator tip on this haircolor really pushes it into the top of it's catergory. It saturates every hair to make sure all the color goes on evenly and looks as natural as possible. The colors seem to be limited......I have only seen about 15 total so I use it to throw some highlights in but the colors that are offered are natural looking but again I wish there were more choices. I usually shop for this at Target they generally offer gift card bonuses when you purchase a certain dollar amount worth.
...

I used Clairol Perfect 10 Dark Blonde (7) on my light brown hair, but my own nautral red/brassy undertones were exacerbated by this hair dye. The dye resulted giving my hair a strong red/orange undertone. It worked in 10 minutes and my hair doesn't feel like straw but I would not recommend this to someone who has red undertones if they want to be more dark blonde. Also, I have a sensitive skin and this really hurt my scalp compared to other home dye kits. I'm going to try the Clairol Brass Free to see if it helps.
...

I recently got the opportunity to try this product by winning a contest. I was able to pick the Clairol color product of my choice. I picked the Perfect 10 because I liked the color options the store had available. The best thing about this is the fact that it takes only 10 minutes to color your hair, 15 if you have stubborn grey. Another bonus is the fact that it's supposed to add high gloss, which in my case, didn't happen. That could be because I color my hair too much. And the applicator is great. And the final appeal is the gloves. For so many years I've complained about the stupid gloves that came with the boxes. Now it seems the gloves are more surgical in nature. Not as good as surgical gloves but very close. And.... if that's not enough, it comes with a 6 weeks supply of conditioner. So for me, this is a good product, as are most Clairol products.
...

I decided to dye my hair for the first time in ten years. Imagine my surprise when I found a product that promised to be ready to rinse in ten minutes. I grabbed it (although the color options are limited) and headed home to make a subtle change. The product was thick and although I have thick hair follicles I only needed one bottle. After ten minutes I rinsed my hair and could see the change, after the rinse my hair felt softer than it's felt in ages. I am in love with my new look. I've added a sassy twist to my look to welcome summer.
...
