Some times I don't understand how some credit cards opperate but I know that I got screwed by them. I am very upset at how I was handle with a problem. What started the problem what that I was sent a letter that my card had but been scamed and that a new card was being sent to me. So I waited patiently and my card came but my account was not set up. So I call to set up my account online because I always make payments online. So the account was set up but then I was told that my card had a past due balance but that she would waive the fees. But when I got my next month statement it had stated that now I was being charged a late fee and over draft fee. I was blowned away because I was told those fees would be dropped. So I called customer service and told them the situation and now I was told that I had to pay all the full amount that was owed on the account now. Well, being a regular human being and I got upset and explained to them that I did not feel that I owed all the back fees...

We currently have a citi card visa. We were late on one payment and the bank rose our interest rate to 29.99. They originally told us that if we had 6 months of no late payments they would lower the interest rate. Upon calling them after the 6 months of no late payments, they told us they could not help us and we had to stick with that interest rate. I would highly suggest someone not apply for this visa card. The bank really sticks it to the consumer and they are not willing to assist the consumer. With all the bank issues today, I would have to say this is the worst bank card we have and as soon as we pay it off, we are cancelling the whole card. Most banks will come out and work with the consumer, this bank will not. They are rude on the phone and will not give you any information you request. I am on the card, but my husband is the primary cardholder. They will allow me to order card protection (which gives them more money) but when I call requesting information , they will not speak...

I like my student visa card. I have had it for 13 years and have had no problems. I have had problems with other companies that charge my bogus charges and are always changing my APR. Citi has always stayed the same. I think that their website is easy to use and it's convienent to make payments on.

I am a consumer that pays off my credit card every month. In December I was out of town for a couple weeks and when I returned, my credit card was past due. I was charged 39.00 late fee and called customer service for assistance and asked to have the late fee taken off. I was told it could not be taken off. I paid the late fee and asked to have my credit card account to be closed. I e-mailed Citi to see if they would assist and was told the same answer. I paid off the card and the next month I was charged $1.00 for late fees. I called and that was taken off of the account. I feel that Citi should have worked with me after years of being a consumer.
