Let me just lay it out on the table. Citi is HORRIBLE. When they aren't trying to con me into talking out exorbitant loans, they are screwing me over by jacking up my interest rates to psychotic levels. You can't get their customer service people to give you a straight answer, or to do what you want. I have tried to cancel this card 2-3 times when I had my balance down to zero and was unsuccessful each time. They dodged and dodged and dodged until after 20 minutes I realized I was using all my phone minutes. I have nothing good to say about this institution, sadly. My biggest goal is to pay my card off ASAP, cancel the card, shred it and never go back. I now prefer local institutions to these large, out-of-touch companies that seem to have as their main goal world domination. This has been a negative review, but trust me, my experience with Citi merits it. Find another place and rest peacefully at night.

If they see any unusual activity, the card is frozen, until you contact them to give your approval. I appreciate that kind of protection....

I hate paying the bill( who doesnt) but it works everywhere without a huge interest rate.The personel are usually ok but not as helpful as i would like....

I have been using this Citi Mastercard for eight years. It is accepted virtually anywhere and it is always fun to see my cash rewards mount up and then, of course, receiving a check.

Also, I have found that their customer service is supurb, always resolving any problem quickly. They are also very good at frinding fraud attempts or checking with me if I am making an unusual purchase. I feel really safe-guarded with them.

I always pay my bill on time so I do not encounter the heavy billing for late payment, over credit line, etc. Check with Citi to find out what these rates are.

Had this card for 5 years. never had a late payment, always paid more than was required on the account. i'm self employed, working new housing construction. when things got slow and i got behind. i called to see if i could make payment arrangements, the customer service employee was beyond rude. she said if i couldn't pay what they wanted to set then they would tack another $5000.00 on my account. i should have asked to talk to a manager but i was so upset i just hung up on her. this is a good card but the customer service if awful.

Citi - Master Card offers cash back bonuses. There is a maximum of three hundred dollars per calendar year and cash back checks can be redeemed when your balance reaches a minimum of fifty dollars. If you choose not to have a check sent to your address on record, then you can have your cash back earnings applied as a reduction to your next monthly invoice statement. I especially like this Citi-Master Card because there is absolutely no annual fee for this credit card. There are very few credit cards, other Master Cards or VISA credit cards that offer this benefit of no annual fees. In addition to this great benefit Citi-Master Card allows you to earn extra reward dollars at certain merchants. For example, a cardholder earns more dollars for purchases at gasoline stations, food stores and personal care stores such as Consumer Value Services (CVS) and Rite-Aide stores. I also like this credit card because my monthly statements that I receive in the mail are easy to read and understand....

I had an account with Citi for years. I lost my job and was in trouble paying my bills. They deferred payments for me for a few months, but raised the rate up high. Needless to say I don't deal with them anymore....

Citibank MasterCard noticed large purchases and informed me immediately. Together we worked this out very ammicably with Citi deleting the amounts I did not purchase with no fuss or argument. I have been with them for years and would never change. They do annoy me sometimes with their "junk" mail but I can bear with that as long as they keep serving me well....
