I got this AAdvantage Mastercard a few months ago and am already racking up so many American Airlines miles. When I signed up for the card I got enough miles for a domestic round trip flight. After that my miles just keep adding up. It's so exciting to be able to get so many miles just by making your everyday purchases.

There are also special deals available only to the credit card holders. You get offers for certain destinations you can go for less miles. If you love to travel this credit card is definitely the way to go. You won't be disappointed.

There is no annual fee for the card the first year you have it. And after that you only pay $85 a year. That doesn't seem like much at all considering how many free flights you can get. My only complaint is that I wish it was a Visa. When traveling internationally it is nice to have different credit cards so that if they don't take one you have another. For some reson all of my credit cards are Mastercard and I have run into problems a few times....

This card is worth getting. I enjoy traveling internationally and one can book an international flight for as low as 40000pts to Europe. Sometimes they have deals and one can go for much cheaper. So I would recommend anyone who enjoys flying, to get this card :)

The AAdvantage card works for me. I turn alot of money for business refilling inventory so I use the card where I can and rackup at least one Intl round trip per year for an annual fee of $65. There is also the option of the same card in a debit form. Not a bad option for those who can't or don't want another credit card. I've been using the card for about 10 years.

Unfortunately this card is no longer available....mine has been grandfathered. You earn 1 air mile for every $15 spent. What is great about this card is that you don't need 10000 miles to fly somewhere. How ever many air miles it is to your destination is how many miles you need to redeem. Second best thing...you just use Citi's travel agency and you can fly on ANY airline. You're not limited to just one so if one airline goes out of business you're not out of luck. Miles don't expire either. Only problem now...Cit is in financial trouble and all my miles may become useless....

If airmiles are your goal, this is a great card. I have seen bonus sign up offers ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 airmiles, and this through a very good organization in my opinion. In the 10 years I have carried an AAdvantage Citibank Mastercard, I have had zero problems, and have found Citibank to have a very helpful staff. This is much more than I can say for some other cards I have carried.

1 airmile per dollar spent through the card is awarded, and your airmiles can be utilized on many other carriers participating in the One World network. which means you can fly anyplace in the world you find you want to go on airmiles. Offers for increased mileage awards are also available for hotels, car rentals, dining, etc.

There is an annual fee involved, but the fee is waived for the first year of card utilization. I carry no credit card balances, so the interest rate is not as important as the benefits to me, but if a low interest rate is your goal rather than airmile accumulation,...

All my other platinum cards come with no annual fee except for this one.

What I get back in benefits with the air mileage makes up for it and then some.

Not sure how the changes in the travel business will affect how the miles are earned and what I can redeem them for. In the past I have been able to transfer miles to Hilton HHonors for hotel points. This allowed my wife and I discounts on air travel, car rental and free hotel stays when we vacationed.

I have found that this card is a very good card to use but only in dier need when you have no cash or on vacation and do not want to carrie cash... Enjoy only have one or two credit cards in your name or even in hand you dont want to many cards because that is a good way to ruin you credit....

The CitiAdvantage card is a nice one to have. I fly American Airlines a lot and the miles add up quickly especially when you use the card to buy your airline tickets.

Redemption is always easy.

My only complaint is that there is a yearly fee often associated with this card unless you have stellar credit. Mine is in the low 700's so I'm not sure what the "magic" level is for them to change how much they charge, but I keep on them to try and get the fee eliminated. Each time (which is something I think you need to do with EVERY credit card you own) I call, I ask them to reduce my APR... they have three times already.

I have this card, I am going through a divorce and lost my job at the same time. They didn't work with me at all and when I missed two payments of 120 each they decided to give me an extra 2000 dollars in fees. Do not get behind, for my minimum payment to catch back up they want almost 1000 for missing 240 worth. Be careful with citi and don't get behind. As far as thier response everyone goes through something and I should not have missed my payments....

more regualtion should be put in place to prevent users from over charging and getting into debt because the cc companies allow users to easaly use ccs....

Citi's AAdvantage card is the absolute WORST credit card I have ever used. Although I paid off my balancees in full every month I would keep getting mystery finance charges show up on my card statements. I had to call in almost every month to have them removed. In addition, when my purse was stolen, all my credit card companies waived the fraudulent charges (i had called in to report the stolen cards within a half hour), but Citi made me fill out form after form to even consider taking the charges off. Finally, it took me MONTHS to cancel my card. Even after my card was cancelled I kept getting statements with finance charges on them!!!! And when I called to report them I was told I would have to call a different department to have the fees removed. I will never ever ever use this credit card company again!!!!!!!!...
