TrishaJ says "Completely in love" about Chrysler Pacifica - 2005

We are a family that has gone through many, many vehicles...until we found the Pacifica. With an infant, we were looking for something that was not as big or fuel-unconscious as our then Expedition. We wanted something that would grow with us. We found everything we were looking for in the Pacifica. We love that there is a third row that provides extra storage space or space as our family grows. It drives smooth and is roomy. Runs great. Fuel usage is great, considering that you are still driving a crossover, and not a small four-door. I completely love this vehicle, so much that we have thought about getting a second one when we start looking again....

The Pacifica handles very nicely, but with the big 17 inch tires it hits bumps rough,it is very comfortable, my car seats six, and you can lay down the four back buckets seats, and with the automatic lift door in the back, so you can haul a big load of stuff if you want.Has a nice built in dvd player for long trips,. Does not get good gas mileage....

tech-chick-mi says "so much better than the new jeep commander" about Chrysler Pacifica - 2005

Two words: LOVE IT! I made the grave mistake of trading in my 2005 Pacifica for a 2007 Jeep Commander in May of 2007. The Jeep Commander has more head room but the Pacifica is WAY more comfortable - not only for the drivers, but for the passengers. The third row of seats got used often by my kids in the Pacifica, but in the Commander, no one uses it because there is NO leg room at all....

petstafford says "Gas guzzler, but my dream car! " about Chrysler Pacifica - 2005

Brief history. When my eldest son was born we were in a rush to purchase a car and without thinking we purchased a slightly used Hyundai Sonata. Both my husband and I hated that car with a pashion. As far as reliability went, it was a perfectly sound vehicle, but it was mind-blowingly boring and had absolutely zero style, however, caught in the negative with regards to financing we were stuck with it for nearly five years.

This summer we finally broke free and reluctant to fall into the same trap as before we spent months reviewing different vehicles trying to find our perfect car. Our budget was up to $25,000. We were stuck though. We wanted a fuel economic vehicle that would seat six comfortably. *insert sound of head hitting desk*. Impossible to find in our budget. I would have loved the Ford Escape Hybrid, but not in our price range. Same for the Hybrid Toyota Highlander. I also wanted something that felt luxurious! (Not hard after five years in the Sonata!).

I was browsing......
