I am disabled and I decided that it was time for me to drive again since my disability.I went to several car dealers and finally after about 3 to 4 dealers,I found a car that I actually felt comportable sitting in and driving.I can't manuver my left arm or shoulder since surgery to remove cancerous tumors in my left side of my neck. The surgeon had to cut a main nerve in my neck and it deteroated the tissue and muscle .I have to where a clavical brace for support ,to hold my left shoulder in place. I am glad to say I have confindense to drive again and I thank God for my PT Cruiser....

deesmit47 says "This is the first car I've owned that is a good fit for a female" about Chrysler PT Cruiser - 2005

My 2005 PT Cruiser sedan is now three years old. During this time, I have found the FWD Cruiser to be a very comfortable and cost-effective vehicle. The driver's seat can be raised / lowered automatically by the small switch on the left side of the driver's seat. There is a manual lever for adjusting the lumbar support area and one to adjust the back of the seat.

The trunk door opens very easily. Because of the size of the door, a good-sized item can be placed into the back area. This is especially so when the back seats are lowered to open up the cargo area. Because of my height (5'3"), I find the cargo door a little difficult to close, even with the convenient hard bar.

The manually adjustable vents for heat and air conditioning allow for comfortable climate distribution to all passenger areas.

A major dissatisfier is the location and (lack of) ease of operation of the tire jack and the spare tire. Pray that you don't have to change a tire in the snow or rain because you will become very...
...

I bought this car this past spring from an expiring lease. I have had no problems and much more fun than expected. I thought I was simply getting an outstanding value. But the ride is very comfortable, the car corners very well (and I previously drove a Dodge Stealth) and my wife and I enjoyed "riding topless" more than expected. I wish every purchasing decision worked out half as well as this one....

I own a 2005 Crysler Pt Crusier since buying it new in 2005. The vehicle has been reliable and has only needed routine maintence. The vehicle is a stylish modern looking car that still turns heads. My only concern since moving to a snowy state is the vehicle is too light in the rear and is hard to keep under control in the snow.
...

This is the best car I've owned to date. Not only is the PT Cruiser fun to drive, but it's also a great small family vehicle. We do more with our Cruiser than most people do with their pickups or SUV's. I have hauled a full size rocker recliner in it, a portable dishwasher, not to mention the gear needed for swim meets. This is a great all purpose car that's a blast to drive. We've had ours for two years and it just hums along. I would highly recommend this car....
