The CHI flat iron is a great product. It straightens, curls, and flips hair quickly without damaging hair because of it's ceramic plates. However, it does run a bit pricy- about $100 on average. I bought mine a year ago because I have really curly hair and it works like a dream. A friend of mine bought a similar looking product from a local store for about $20, just a different brand and her straightener works just like mine. If I had known that, I would have never spent 5 times as much as her for a product that gives me the same results.

The Chi Straightener is by far the best straightener that there is available. I have long curly hair, and it is just about impossible to straighten! I have to blow dry it (with a roundbrush!), then i have to brush it out, then i have to seperate it into layers, and then i have to straighten each layer! it was such a hassle! until i got the chi straightening iron. Now straightening my hair is easy and fun! i just let my hair air dry, or blow it dry and then i can straighten it in about 15 minutes! I don't even know what i did before i had my chi straightener! i feel like my life is complete now! i am a mom and i am always busy with my son! so i've never really had time to fix my hair! until now! now that i have my chi straightener i can fix my hair while my baby is playing! and i'm even done before he is! i recommend that you get the chi straightener and try it today! its pricey but its totally worth it!

With the Chi Flat Iron you can do many things with it. You could curl, crimp, and straighten your hair. You could do different styles of curling. You could also do a flip to your hair, it could be a up or down flip. The Chi Flat Iron heats up really quickly. It is also very easy to use, if you don't understand how to use it. "I had someone test this straightener on my hair before buying one myself. I've tried expensive straighteners, I've tried $30 straighteners - they all pretty much straighten my hair, but some curl ALWAYS creeps back in. I go over it with an iron, then with a blowdryer to try and get the last kinks out, but it never works. Oh, and forget straightening during the spring, summer and whenever the humidity rises above 30%.Well, after my sister used the Maxiglide on me, it was almost TOO straight. You know how you see some people with straight hair but you can still tell they're naturally curly? Mine didn't show one telltale sign of my natural curl. I didn't think for a second that it was going to stay like that, but it did. I slept on it and didn't retouch anything in the morning and it was incredibly humid outside! I think it's the steam that makes all the difference. This product is amazing, and it doesn't damage your hair as much as other straightners."

I bought the Chi hair straightener because many of my friends had it and all they had to say about it was that it was easy and great! When i first started using it, it was as good as everyone says. but the more you use it the more it can start to smell when you turn it on and the plats start getting rust type looking stuff on them. but it is worth the amount of money you pay because it works so well and straightens fast! i deffinitly reccomend it!

I am in love with hair care product. Recently i suffered from thinning hair. I started shopping inhair salons for my hair car products so i could change my hair thinning. Now I am addicted to hair salon products. I enjoy several different brands. I particularly like Nixon, bed head, sexy hair, just for curls and chi products. I use special shampoo and conditioner for my thinning hair. I use a voume mousse for my damp hair and finnish it off woth a just for curls curling hair spray. That gives my the look for my natural hair. Sometime i decide to flat iron my hair. When I do, i still use a shampoo and conditioner for my thinning hair. I will let my hair dry naturally. The i use my chi flat iron with the chi flat iron protectant spray. That spray also provides styling spary in it to keep the frissys down. I like to share my opinion with anyone who interested in continuation of the products i love to use most. I also would be willing to try out new products that help with a dry itchy scalp....

I have had several flat irons in the past that I bought from Ulta that definately were not in the least expensive range but just never felt like I could spend the extra to get the best (Chi). Last year my friends hair stylist was going to pick her up a Chi from a beauty supply store that she gets all of her products and she offered to get me one as well and they were on for a promotional price. Looking back I would have saved buying the Chi flat iron from the start. I got the cute pink camoflouge with the travel case that matches. In the past my flat irons would get product stuck on the plates and it was hard if not impossible to get off. I have never had any problems with my Chi doing that in fact it still looks just like it did when I originally got it. To anyone out there thinking about buying a flat iron my advice is to go ahead and splurge on the Chi, I truly think it will save you money in the long run.

For months I made 'do' with my $40 straightener trying to convince myself that it would be enough. I would see other women with perfect hair to find out they used a CHI. Everyone would say "A C-H-I...! ooohhhh Like it was something to worship. Well gals...It is the Mercedes Benz of hair straighteners. I am chanting CHI! CHI! CHI! everywhere I go.
I have thick, wavy hair and it only took about 10 mins to iron it flat. It feels silky smooth too! and is so shiny! My $40 cheapie made it feel like straw.
I know the high price may stop many women from buying it.
But I swear, you HAVE to buy a CHI, if you are as fussy about your hair as I am, its a dream come true.
Finally; we puffy, thick and wavy haired gals can have it all.
It heats up fast and does not burn or singe the hair at all..but rather glides through my hair. I didn't experiencing it being overly hot either. Just perfect in every way. Way worth the money!

The Chi ceramic hairstyling iron I believe is one of the best flat irons a consumer can buy for the price. For the price is works great. Heats fast (hot) styles wonderfully even for the ones of us who do not have alot of time to style our hair. I would like to recommend this flat iron to friends everywhere.

Hi my name is Shaunda and I am a thirty year old mom with six kids. I recently went from using perms to just straightening my hair withthe hot comb on the stove. I heard of the chi iron about two years ago andnever tried it till now i went to the local beauty supply store and purchased the Chi irons. I used them that day. I was so impressed with the results it had three heat setting it was light weight and it cut my time down on doing hair from over and hour to maybe 20 minutes. My hair was so silky and straight and bouncy i never recieved that from the straightening comb. I could make my hair straight and curl it all at the same time . I have now been using the chi iron for about two or three years and have not returned to the perm or the hot comb. My hair hold the curls through everything. It takes longer for me to have to straighten my hair again that has made my hair so much healthier I use it only about four times a month that once a week the curls hold all week long For some one with...

I useto own a different straightener that would take a long time to heat up, make my hair frizzy, make my hair look dead but then I got the CHI straightener at Swapt-Meet for 25$ & I TOTALLY fell in love with it! hahah. I was literally dancing around swinging my soft, straight hair. It only takes about a minutes to heat up, is light, straightens quickly, doesnt damage my hair too bad, looks nice :) AND I totally recommend it!

i love the chi flat iron i have one and it works wonder to my hair and my kids i love to blow dry hair but after i use the flat iron and it makes ur hair look so silky and smooth even know thats to much heat for ur hair but after u get the final result you will be in love just like i did this is a product i would recommend everyone to buy with no exception and if you want to know whats the best part about this product that young girls can use it my daughter uses it and does her own hair or she'll do her lil sisters hair all the time it works fast if u have to be somewhere quick turn it on and you'll be done in seconds for sure and your final look is unbelieveable that everyone you know and you dont know will stop and stare and ask you what salon did you get your hair done at and you will tell them you did it your own self with the chi flat iron i do hair in my home and let me tell you something with this product i can do alot of peoples hair thats how easy and simple it is to use the only......
