We had an accident recently (Malibu totaled). A snow plow wiped out the whole front end. My husband and I came out of the car relatively unscathed. In another car we might have been dead or have body parts missing. I will buy another Malibu in a minute. We couldn't feel safer! This Malibu was our 3rd one and there will be a 4th....

I love my car. It has a nice information center that tells me about how many miles I have left on a tank of gas and other things such as the life of my oil and that the battery is low on my keyless entry. I also like the fact that it has two cigarette plugins for the many things that we run in the car these days, such as cell phone charger and personal DVD player for the kids. This vehicle also has side airbags along with the front airbags which help me feel safer. I also love the large trunk.

I do have one complaint about this car. I am a little unhappy with the doors. If they are not opened all the way then they don't stay open. My little two year old gets scared because the door shuts on him while he tries to get in. Sometimes you don't want to open the door all the way because of how close the car parked next to you is. I have always taken this specific thing for granted because I have never had a car that does this and now that I have a car with this problem I do...
...

Nathan says "It's ugly, but it's inexpensive reliability. " about Chevrolet Malibu - 2005

After test driving both Honda and Toyota, I decided to give the 2005 Malibu a drive simply because I liked the color of the car sitting on the lot. I also previously owned a 1998 model, so I was curious to experience the difference.

I found the car drove tight like an Accord, but the Malibu's ride was more comfortable. I also noticed the suspension was not soft as a Camry, but felt more sporty. With a 3500 V6 powering the sedan, acceleration met my demand. It was surprising in fact. In the city it pulls off the line nicely and gives you the quick jolt of speed you sometimes want. I was expecting a much lazier car.

The highway proved to be a pleasant experience as well. This car seemed to like the passing gear, and cruised comfortably at 80mph. I was also impressed by the fact I could talk to the person next to me without road noise being too much a factor. It was comfortable, quiet and demonstrated good passing power.

The comforts of the interior are what I would expect from this...
...
