Not a strong car. Takes a long time to get up to 55 MPH so you got to move over to the right lane, especially when you are going up hills....

This is our second Cavalier, our first was a 1996 Cavalier Convertible. We never intended on buying a second one, but our first was good to us and the second came at a good deal. It has excellent gas meleage, it is roomy enough for our family of three, and has proven to be quite reliable. I expect this car will last us many years to come and not let our family down....

I love this car. Though it might not be the most flashiest car it has a good price and is extremelty reliable. I have put 180k miles on this car and have only had to replace the tires and the fuel pump!!!! No I don't baby the car. I take it camping, on roadtrips, and drive it like I think its a a mustang(I just don't accelerate that fast)....

I do a lot of travelling, commuting. This Cavalier is great on mileage, yet I don't feel scunched. It is safe because it isn't too small, doesn't get lost among big cars on the road..The price was low enough to draw me to buy, good for first-time buyers and commuters...

Do not put yourself through the headaches of ownership of this vehicle. This car has constant repairs and it has only 30,000 miles on it. Constant electrical problems, brake issues, fuel pump issues and the list goes on. Very poor quality. Have had it at the dealership multiple times for the same issues.

This is a reliable auto. Excellent gas milage which creates the small size, especially the trunk. Only issue was turn signal replaced twice before the recall solved the issue. This is now discontinued, hence the lack of style will never be impoved. Now a used vehicle highly recomend for young driver first auto....

I'm a tall guy, but I found the Cavalier to have good head room if you get the 4 door. Turning the A/C on can pull some power away from accelerating. The car is great on gas mileage, and I have driven it for over 60,000 miles requiring only oil changes and a burned out turn signal light. (Great given the number of fixes most cars have by that many miles.)

If you're in the market for a used car (as they don't make these anymore), it's a very reliable vehicle.
