      <description>&lt;p&gt;My quilty pleasure in life is Chick-lit. I know that it's not that fascinating to say i'm reading the newest book out about drinks sex and life in the city, but I find that these books are very difficult to put down. When Chasing Harry Winston came out I was appalled by the coverart. Who wears hairy animal print stilettos? It looked terrible, and slightly embarrasing, but it was from the same author as Devil Wore Prada AND it was a top seller! I decided to give it a try, and i'm glad I did. While the book didn't change my world, and it doesn't make my top 10 list, I really enjoyed reading it. I looked forward to working out after work when I had this book and it really motivated me to push myself further because I felt like they were int he same place as me!&lt;/p&gt;... </description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I've read Lauren Weisberger's other two books, The Devil Wears Prada and Everyone Worth Knowning.&#160; They didn't knock my socks off, but they kept my interest enough that I read them all the way through.&#160; I ordered the book basically because I was fresh out of reading material and was hoping that the third time would be the charm for this author.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;Chasing Harry Winston&lt;/em&gt; centers around three &quot;best friends&quot;: Leigh, Adriana, and Emmy.&#160; These thirty-ish women have known each other for ten years and are in very different places in their lives.&#160; One night, they go out and making bets on what they will do in the future.&#160; Okay, the story isn't totally original, but I was willing to go with it for an entertaining story.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, &lt;em&gt;Chasing Harry Winston&lt;/em&gt; wasn't all that interesting.&#160; The main characters led sad lives and they weren't believable as &quot;best friends&quot; since they didn't seem to do anything other than snipe at each other the whole time.&#160; I finished the book, but I have to say that it...&lt;/p&gt;... </description>
