In 2006 Ive recieved an offer from Chase bank.It was for the sum of 250$. That right two hundred and fifty dollars. So like any body with out a credit card i accepted the offer. When i got the card it had a 79$ fee.So my credit limit was not 250$. I was very upset before i used the card it had a negative balance. At the time I just got married. A couple of months later We got pregnant. With a baby on the way two people working we thought everything would be great yeah why not take the offer any way .That was the big mistake had I known then what i know now I probably would have never done it.Well eventually as time went on in my pregnancy I was unable to work due to pregnancy complications. I was devestated.I thought i was going to lose my baby.I contacted Chase bank and explained my situation. They put me on this special program. I missed one Payment or two payment because of being hospitilized. And now they are trying to sue me for1161$.

think it is due to poor customer service. The reps...
...

gophils33 says "The credit card gives good rewards at 1 percent" about Chase - Visa

Chase Visa Card

This credit card has been good for me for many years. The rate is fairly low at around twelve percent and has not fluctuated over the 5 years I have had the card. My rate has in fact gone down once after I called and requested a lower rate, and the company was more than willing to work along with me to lower the rate so that I would keep using the card.

The point system is very fair and I have used it a lot. You get one percent, or one point for every dollar you spend. The points can then be used for cash back, or gift cards to restaurants, online retailers, and many other places. When you request the points to be used they are used in a timely fashion and you get your check fairly quickly.

The billing cycle is a four week cycle which leaves plenty of time to get my bill and pay it. They also offer free online bill pay which is really nice and is something that not all credit card companies are doing anymore.
...

AryaStark says "Chase credit card services - NOT a leader in customer service." about Chase - Visa

I have to admit, I wasn't happy when Chase tookover Washington Mutual as it meant that Chase owned 6 of my 9 credit cards and I haven't always had the best service with them. The same has been true with this experience. Chase tookover the My Points credit card that was owned by Washington Mutual before they went belly up. Since receiving the new Chase "Flex Rewards" card my interest rate went from 12.9% to 27.9%. When I called and asked them to lower it they said they couldn't because I don't have a history with them. (Remember, they own 6 of my 9 credit cards so I'm not sure how they could say that, plus none of those other 5 cards have an interest rate over 14.9%). When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for 20 minutes, put back into the call center system and then hung up on.

I don't mind having a higher interest rate or carrying a balance but when they're going to up my rate by over 15% just because they now own the card, then I have a problem. I do not...
...

ShadraB says "Choose any other company but Chase!" about Chase - Visa

I have been motivated to write a review about Chase as a credit card company, because of all the credit cards I have (from Capital One, Household Bank, Chase, Discover, and HSBC) they have provided the WORST customer treatment since the credit crunch of 2009.

I have never had a late payment, gone over my credit limit, or had any kind of issues with these credit cards. These cards were originally issued by Providian, taken over by Washington Mutual, and then gobbled up by Chase. Immediately after Chase took control, they increased my APR from 14% to 28%. When I called, they said 28% was the lowest they offered. I promptly paid off the cards; so they cut my credit limits on each card in HALF, which can severely affect your credit rating.

They do appear to care about consumers, only about profits. I am deeply disappointed and actively searching for better banking partners for both my personal and my business needs.
...

Well, My chase cards I don't like because they raise your interest rates and than when you ask them to work with you in lowering the rates they will not work with you at all I really think Chase is one of the worst credit card companys to deal with I just paid two Chase cards off called for a payoff total and was told what it was the next day I paid my balances in full on two cards almost 4000.00 and said to myself I'm going to save some money paying these 2 credit cards off so . So my experience is I paid these cards of figuring I was done with them well to my surprise I recieved 2 more bills One for for Interest due on a zero balance what happen here . I called and they told that that was interest that built up before the final payment and I said what are you talking about. I called for a payoff balance and you gave me one . Than I was informed that they don't give out payoffs . Well I paid them everything I owed on my last statement. their total payment. No not good enough they sent...
...

My checkbook was stolen in a home burglary while I was out of state, and I contacted Chase to let them know my checking account was closed due to the theft, and that because I was currently in a different state, I would not have immediate access to my new checking information to make the next payment on the due date. I was told that there was no way to prevent a late fee, but that I could call back after I made a payment to have the fee reversed. A few weeks later, I did as instructed, but now was told that the fee could not be reversed. I offered to supply a copy of the police report which lists the stolen account number, but they still refused to credit the late fee. I feel like I was victimized a second time by chase.
...
