dudleybuddy says "Great Customer Service! Easy to earn rewards!" about Chase - Rewards Card

We use the card for literally everything, as I'm not one to carry cash. The points do add up fairly quickly, and it's great to be able to redeem them for merchandise, gift cards, or even a check made directly to me.
The customer service is friendly, and they even call on larger purchases to be sure that they are legitimate and not fraudulent!
We once traveled by air, and from leaving home in PA, flying from OH, and landing in AZ, they called us to question the charges of three states in the same day. That's great security as far as we're concerned!...

I've had this card for a few years now and have never had any problems. I pay my whole balance off every month, so the slightly higher interest rate is not a problem for me. I use it to buy everyday stuff like groceries and my gym membership, and just watch my rewards build up! The points can be used for cash or gift cards. I have gotten a couple checks so far and they are easy to purchase with points and come quickly. The only problem with the rewards points that I've seen is that it doesn't count my Safeway grocery store as a grocery store, so I could be earning my points faster. Also, a few months ago someone tried to steal my card number. They did not contact me, but when my card suddenly stopped working I had to call them to find out why they cancelled the card. I'm glad they stopped it, but wish I had gotten a phone call instead of being stranded without money to pay for gas.
...

I like the Chase rewards card because I can get the 1% back after 2500 points. Debit cards are dangerous for senior citizens. We're likely to over-use and can lose one and then it's awful to have to cancel everything....

I use this card for large purchases because of the rewards I get back. I enjoy getting something back when I spend money so this a a great card for me. I haven't found another one that you get better rewards on. Discover comes close, but the 1% cash back definitely tops it for me....

Watch your monthly statements! When the statement claims 'points will expire on or after month' - you as the consumer have no way of knowing when during the month the points will expire. I called the first week of the month to talk about reward options, but by the second week of the month when I had made up my mind, the points are gone. The statement does not give a specific day within the month that the points will expire. When calling customer service to get the points back since the month is not over - good luck! Not only are they rude and condescending but they could care less. Points that have taken years to accumulate are gone SOMETIME during the month. I have used my card and pay the balance every month for over 10 years - doesn't matter - Chase could care less. If I were you - I would get a different card. On my daughters visa(mba) - the points never expire. You earn them, you keep them. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE! There are a million cards out there, all......

The Chase Rewards is great if you can really pay it off each month. It make no sense to jack up the card just to get 1 - 3% rewards when the interest rate is MUCH higher than that. If you're disciplined, it's just like getting free money....

I opened an account with Chase bank. I was told about the rewards program and how it works. Simply choose credit vs. debit for each transaction and get points. After so many , you qualify for certain things such as giftcards to hardware stores, starbucks, target, etc. It's really great, I can't wait to build up all my points for a really good giftcard. That's a night out on the town or even a dinner date with the hubbie. This program works for me and I highly recoomend it!...
