I wouldn't change charge cards for anything..well, almost anything. Each time there has been a problem with a charge, Amazon Visa comes to our aid with flying colors. They have excellent service and have always stood by me when there's been a problem. On top of that I get 25.00 back each time I spend 2500.00. 2500.00 that I need to spend whether I use Amazon Visa or not. So, the bottom line is, I can't say enough good thing about Amazon.Com Visa!

Ever since starting with Amazon Visa I've never been disappointed. We've had many an opportunity to get other credit cards with amazing offers, but because of the outstanding service we've received, I will never charge on another card, unless something really dramatic transpires. We use Amazon Visa only. My husband has his account and I have mine. I happen to like to use mine because of the Amazon points that I rack up when buying online. I do a tremendous amount of online buying due to being disabled. We do pay off our credit cards off every month, after letting them get out of control a number of years ago. We learned our lesson. The thing that I appreciate the most is that Amazon Visa is so true blue to us. We've had a number of times when companies have charged on our accounts without authorization. An example would be a magazine, once put on a credit card, and the magazine is not what I hoped it would be. The next year rolls around and I don't want it. Having my CC # they assume that......

I shop Amazon a lot, thought Amazon card is good to have. Recently, I had a terrible experience with those customer services people and their so called supervisers. All of them had a bad tone and attitude when I talk about my late fee. I had a previous statement balance (due 9/04/09) $230, I paid 2 days before my due date with $1397, which was my next statement due balance. I thought I don't have to worry the payment for the next due date. But on Oct. 4th, when I logon my account, I saw a charge $28 made on 9/05/09 was shown on the Oct. due statement, I paid it as I saw it on Oct. 4th. The following month Statement showed that I had $39 late fee and $24 finance fee because I paid the $28 late on Oct 4th cut off time. My current bill is due 11/01/09 with balance $2987 which most the payment was for the kid college payment. I don't have to borrow any money from the bank, I paid the $2987 on time. and talked to the chase customer services for the late fee, told them I didn't...
...

I had the Amazon.com VISA from Chase for 5 years and paid every single payment on time. Then I submitted one payment online 45 minutes late. They charged me a $39 late fee plus finance charges on the balance. I called and asked if they could waive the fee based on my excellent standing, excellent credit, and the 8 other accounts (including a mortgage) that I have with Chase. They refused to budge an inch. Bottom line: Customer loyalty means nothing to them. I canceled the card immediately & will find one with better policies.
...

This is an amazing visa card..I saw my points jump so fast each time I buy a product from Amazon. The points can be redeemed for flight tickets whether domestic or international. In a year I gave gathered enough points just by buying products from Amazon so that I can get a free ticket to Hawai. That's cool. You dont need to spend more...Just by buying a WD portable hard drive (77$) I gathered 3000 points. I bought so many things from Amazon. There are many more merchants thro which you can redeem your points. you can also get electronic gc for Amazon during redemption.
...

Even though I still go to a mall every so often, more than likely it's to get a hair cut at my favorite barber shop, buy a new pair of prescription glasses or go to the movies at a multi-screen theater. Very rarely is it to do what I used to go to the mall for: to browse at my favorite bookstore, look for the latest CD, video or (after 1999) DVD at a "music and video store," or the occasional jaunt to a Toys R Us or KB Toys store to look for new Star Wars action figures.

Since, oh, 2001, when I used a complimentary Amazon gift certificate we received from BellSouth (now AT&T) for trying their online billing system, I have been more of an online shopper than a constant visitor to a mall, even though I live within theoretical walking distance of two malls and "spitting distance" of a plethora of strip malls. Though not entirely by choice - I don't drive, and if I were to write a review of Miami-Dade's public transportation system, it would be a scathing one - I have willingly given...
...

I got the Chase Amazon Card because I was buying an expensive gift for my mom on Amazon.com and they were offering 30% (or was it $30?) discount if you bought a card. It was a long time go so I don't remember the exact details. It was a good deal though so I signed up. I've since had the card for years and now use it as my secondary / once in awhile card. It was my primary for awhile but now my Chase Freedom is my primary because it has better rewards.

The Good Points:

Chase Amazon is a Visa card so it's taken everywhere.

It's also a Chase card so it links up with all my other Chase accounts online

The rewards are automatically sent to you once you hit enough points - no need to track it or request it, just check your mail box!

The reward is a $25 gift card to Amazon once you hit 2500 points. There's ALWAYS something I can buy at Amazon!

Amazon.com has free shipping on a number of items

You can add the Amazon.com gift card into your account and just leave it there...

...

The Chase Amazon is a fantastic card with a great rewards line-up on all kind of purchases. As a software professional all my purchases earn me rewards with this card. Amazon purchases gives the maximum points, that is triple points. Whats more, I earn double points at gas stations, restaurants and drugstores. Also, they have bonus points (earn 10 points per $1) till Mar 2009, on monthly bills like phone, cable, gas, electric etc. Though I did not get the time to use this feature, it sounds super cool.

The feature I liked the most is redeeming the points, go to the chase website and order your $25 gift card whenever you reach 2500 points.
...

If you are one of the computer freaks like me and buy everything you need online you probably use amazon.com frequently. Before going to a chase branch for a legal issuse I didn't get any invitation to use this card and that cause to miss a lot of rewards so if you are using amazon.com don't waste your time and apply to this card. I have always serviced professionaly by chase and I that makse this card important for me....

Use it to buy stuff from amazon. This results in additional credit. Otherwise, I prefer other chase rewards like Chase Travel Plus. This works well and is easy and convenient. To date I have only used it for purchases on Amazon.com, which is about once a month, so it is not a bad investment. I have several amazon points built up. No real complaints. Never had to call up customer service so no real feedback there....

I signed up for this card because they offered a low introductory rate for six months. On my second month, they claimed my payment as late, even though they had cashed my check a week before the due date. I called and had them deduct the penalty charge. One moth later, my interest rate had gone up, way above the intro rate. I called again and they said it was because of the previous month's "late" payment. I paid off the card and cancelled it. Not recommended....
