My best friends and I had always wanted to take a cruise vacation and since Carnival is very close to where we live, we opted to cruise on the Ecstasy.

I will say the line is very fun oriented and was perfect for an all adult group. The food was as expected on a cruise ship. Our favorite item was the chocolate lava cake at dinner. YUMMY!

We loved the staff. Our stateroom was always stocked with whatever we needed and our dining experiences were always fun.

My husband and I went on a short cruise out of Miami on the Carnival ship Ecstasy. I think you have to try to not have a nice time on a cruise. No one from my soap (General Hospital) actually was on the cruise, but we met and dined with "stars" from other soaps and they were all very nice. I'd love to go again!!...

Carnival cruise lines have been a leader in travel and entertainment area for ages. I remember still hearing about them when I was just a kid. I'm 28 now. So that shows how long they've been around and thier reputation holds strong. This is just another of thier fine examples of integrity, service, value, and entertainment. I was highly pleased with it....

This Carnival Cruise Lines - Ecstasy cruise was amazing...., but beware drinks can be really PRICEY! It was all worth the price. Ten people went on the cruise for two thousand dollars. You couldn't fly anywhere and stay in a hotel for that price.

I went on this cruise in February with a group of girlfriends. We had a fun trip because we were all together, but I would rather have flown somewhere and had more time to do what we wanted to do. The ocean was so rough that one night they had to cancel the stage show because the girls would have fallen off the stage and one night so rough that we didn't even go to dinner. I guess I am just not cruise material. My husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise last year and it was great to see everything in Alaska, but I would have preferred to fly there and stay in each town as long as we wanted and not have just a few hours in each port. ...

I travel as often as possible, I recently went on a cruise with girlfriends from work organized by a local travel agency. This was a fun trip and we felt very safe traveling as a group of women to mexico / western carribean. Would do this again in a heartbeat !

I have been on Carnival cruise lines before with my husband and enjoyed the great price and ease of travel, Carnival agents make it a snap!

Our honeymoon on the Ecstasy was our first cruise experience. Everyone on board was fabulous and extremely helpful and courteous. We visited some great sites and the staff kept us well entertained. Since our honeymoon cruise, we have traveled two other times and have enjoyed them as much if not more!...

When my son was home of leave due to a medical relief leave for the death of a family member.

I thought that it would be a much needed get away for me and my son under the circumstances. In order to take my son's mind off of the death of his grandmother.

And i was right it taught him that no matter what that life goes on and it still has to be lived and enjoyed. That death was a part of life.

We had a great time it was my sons first cruise and for sure i believe that we will go on another one without the tears.

The cruise gave him a mental rest. It was great for me as a mom to see him experience something new, a life time memory.

For him to see and experience what i have enjoyed on my past cruises. He did not realize all that a cruise had to offer. From the night life, dancing, exercise time, the excitement of the different ports, meeting new people.

And the all around fun that we had. And it was his birthday and i had a cake brought over to him after dinner and for me having that option to have...

This was my second cruise. 100% better than the first cruise we went on with another company. The ship was bigger, newer, and much nicer. Everything was first class from the food to the roomservice. I especially enjoyed the feeling of being spoiled. Everywhere I turned there was someone there offering me a drink! Our room was always cleaned with a special towel shaped animal waiting for us. There was entertainment 24 hours a day, even dinner was entertaining! I would definately love to go again!

Three of us girls from work decided to go on a girls get away and this was a great way to go because just about everything was included in the price. The service was great and the Food was really good and plenty of it around.We loved coming back at night to see the little towel animals on our bed.We are ready to go again!!!...

The decor of the ship was stuck in the 80's. Bad rainbow colors in the funky bold patterns from the 80's. Along with being sea sick and stuck waiting for the elevators with the decor made me feel worse. The food was not 5 star or even close. Almost Every meal both my husband and I got sick off of. Did not taste fresh and the flavor of the food tasted very processed. The best part of the cruise was getting off of it at the ports in Mexico. ...

As a graduation from college present for myself I went on a Carnival cruise in November of 1997. I would suggest that if you are young and single cruising or at least this cruise line is not for you. I felt like I was on a field trip the entire time. I also did not like the fact that our room steward kept hitting on my friend whom I was travelling with. It made it very uncomfortable for us as we tried to quickly dogde him throughout the entire trip. I also did not enjoy having to eat dinner with people as old as my parents, especially when we had requested to sit with a younger crowd. This cruise and cruise line left such a bad taste in my mouth that I won't cruise again. I can see how old people like cruises. Everything is planned out for you. But if you are a younger traveler I think this would not be adventerous enough.
