i am a single parent and mt daughter was not able to drink alot of different milks and we had to keep changing her milk but after she was switched over to carnation good start she started gaining weight and she could drink it with out problems such as ( spitting up and having problems using the bath room). Now she is a chinky little baby all happy and everything. So i am so thankful for the carnation good start. I would suggest this to all mothers it is really great after i had to switch her milk the 4th time i was starting to think i was never going to be able to find some thing she could drink but i was so wrong and im really glad. it has good quality to it yeah it is a little bit expensive but the money is worth having a healthy and full baby right. my baby's happiness and health is worth any a mount of money. like i said it is easy for them to digest, no more spitting up, no more gassy tummy's, it even seems to calm a colic baby, and it is very easy to use, very fast to make and you...

Hello my name is Chastity and I was offer Carnation Good Start when my son was a baby from the program called WIC (Women, Infant and Children). They were under a new contract that they were giving away the Carnation Good Start instead of the Enfamil that I was used too. I got to admit that I sort of freaked out about it. First I didn't know any thing about them. Secondly, it was a little nerve wrecking that I could not chose the baby formula that I was used to. So I refused it and started buying my sons milk on my own. Since I was in college at the time this became too hard to do. So I made a deal with the store manager to refund the Carnation Good Start and I will then pay the difference in cash for the Enfamil. I was so gun hoe on making sure that I used a product that was familiar to me than trying out something new. My son didn't like the Enfamil to much. He spit out a lot and he always had a lot of gas. Love this formula! Great for fussy baby! Dr. wanted me to try the expensive soy formula or ones designed for collic, but a dear friend suggested I try this first! Within 3 days his collic was getting better,a nd within a week he was a new HAPPY baby, which meant I was a new HAPPY mom! That was 2 babies ago, and now I just head straight for teh carnation and skip everything else! Love the fact that its cheaper too!

My children are older now but all three were on Carnation Good start when they were babies. Out of three children not one fo them had a problem digested this formula and it was easy to use this fomula along with breastfeeding so when they did bottle feed completely they had no problem with this formula at all. I definitely wouldn't say this is th cheapest formula on the market because I have seen a cheaper brand but this is reasonably priced as far as formulas go and it is certainly not to most expensive . When you have babies you need to find good products and a good price that will work well and this formula does.I've used both the powder and the ready formula and both were easy to use I had no clumping when I mixed the powdered formula and the water, which is important because no one has all day to just sit and keeping shakeing bottles to mix it up. overall I think that Carnation is a good formula for a good price and I would definitely recommend it.

I have used Carnation Good Start with four of my five children. I also use Carnation Good Start in my home based daycare facility. I find it very easily mixed and dissolveable, without lumps of powder sticking to the inside of the bottles. It has a pleasant smell, compared to other formulas. My children have all consumed this formula without any problems. This formula seems to propose less gas and easy digestion, in most infants. The packaging is bright, cheery, and distinctive. The price is less than most other formulas. I have also received some coupons worth a great deal towards my future purchases of this product. I truly believe in the healthiness of this formula, as well. Overall, I would say that I would definitely recommend this formula to my family and friends to use with their children and grandchildren. I love this product for the quality, name brand, low price, easy to make, popularity and ease on stomach of young children.

When my daughter was a baby, we started her on Enfilmil formula because, honestly, that's what was given free to us so we tried it. She was so gassy and fussy and I didn't know what was wrong. Some people said that it was just colic, others that we just weren't used to a baby around the house. Finally I deceided to take her to the doctor and see what he thought it might be. I didn't even have to explain the entire situation and the doctor said to change her to Carnation Goodstart because it's easier to break down in her belly. She started feeling better the first day and that's what we used ever since. In addition, they have the DHA and ARA in the formula. Now, please, ask your doctor for what is best since every child is different, but if you're having some of the same problems, perhaps you can try changing formulas to this one. And remember, don't change right away, you must ease the transition.

My kids looved this when they were little couldnt get enough of it and I signed up for the carnation mail and got lots of free coupons and products ladies this is the way to go sign up for every baby club known to man and you will be ok. even now i still get stuff from them and its been years! at first we tried a differant formula but my son could not keep it down so we switched to the good start and he did really well..thank goodness i was startin to run out of clothes.. that projectile stuff wasnt happeneing but they are now grown up so i no longer am in need for formula. also make sure to sign up for wic they provide you with lots of it for free too!! that got my through with my two kids until they were at least a year old themn you switch to milk anyways. so that is great i loved that program. My sisters son now gets the good start and he loves it too gobbles it on up. its a great source of vitamins

I switched to this formula at the end of my son's "formula career." I wish I had switched much, much earlier. My son was born 3 weeks early and was small, 5 lbs. 14 ozs. He had reflux due to his size and being slightly underdeveloped. We started on Enfamil Lipid with Iron at the hospital. He was so cranky and gassy. He would cry and scream and pull his legs up. It was horrible. So we switched to Enfamil Gentlease. He did a little better but still seemed to be quite gassy. My husband and I did not want to mess around with this and keep switching formulas so we decided at that point to go straight to Enfamil Nutramigen. It was SO expensive but did the trick with the gas so we stuck to it. I was buying it in bulk over the internet to save a little $. I ended up running out just before I was going to wean my son off of formula entirely. I went to the store looking for something to tide me over for a little while. I wound up buying Carnation. It was so nice. ...

Good Start issued some great coupons that made for a great deals at Kroger paired with their sales. My daughter seemed to drink it better than Enfamil during the switch from breast milk....

For both of my daughters I used Carnation Good Start formula. We tried other brands at first but both my daughters got very gassy and fussy. With our first baby we were clueless, tired and frustrated. I switched to Carnation Good Start and right away my babies were comfortable.

I would recommend Carnation Good Start to any new mom and tell them it worked for me!

Both of my daughters needed to be on special formula to aid with digestion. We spent hundreds of dollars on hypo allergenic formula before we tried Good Start. I wish we would have tried that from the beginning. Worked great for both children and both of them tolerated it well. The cost savings was an added bonus that were not expecting. We just wanted a product that would work well. We got it in Good Start!

Nestle Good Start gentle formula with DHA for brain and eye deveopment and for immunity(green box) is great,.It has proved to be a lifeline for our child.

At first,I chose it only because it was a nestle product ,but it has really proven itself to be a technically superior brand .The child has been able to meet all devepmental milestones appropriately.

The fussiness is also avoided.It comes in both gentle and non gentle varieties and is actually nonfuss.There are other varieties of Nestle Good Start including one with soy milk if that is your preference.

I would suggest Nestle Good Start strongly to all new moms who want a really beneficial DHA supplemented,non fuss formula for their infant.
