Hi, I use to own a capitol one visa card and I was lead mechanically around to run up my bill and to be made unhappy in the world by the devil. I did not know to much about struggle with sin then. But now I do and that was wrong for the devil and the people to do. I pray my mentors will correct it with me soon. For the God promises to make happy times of the land of the christians. I had to run the bill up to a 1000 dollars and enjoyed every bit of it except I did not by anything important. Well, so I kept being led to look stupid. I wish I never had credit cards and took a 7 year lost to never have one again. Well, I went down and checked on myself and there it was in black and white a lean against me regarding the card. They went to court on me with all my costs. Higher than what I expected and they are not suppose to add up on me anyway. Well, they do and I thank God for saving me. Well, I am never going to have one again. Amen.

Dont get a Capital One credit card - even if you might have a good credit history they have a bad habit of raising your rate - I had a fixed rate credit card and was paying 3x the min balance on it every month since I used it to pay for school, they jacked up my rate to17.9 % from 5.99 % in order to beat the new credit card restrictions that are coming and I had to pay off everything well in advance to avoid seeing my monthly payments double.

Capital One Visa has proven to be an excellent way for me to manage my overall financial portfolio. It has offered me a relatively low interest rate, compared to that offered by other cards. In addition, this card allows some over the limit spending, as long as the balance is brought back within the total line of credit before a certain cut-off date. I have found the Customer Service department to be very helpful, and several of their representatives have taken the time to explain various items to me. For example, when I mistakenly incurred some fees, the Capital One representative who answered the call not only explained to me what the fees were and why they were there, but also explained what I can do to avoid those fees in the future. I have been very satisfied that Capital One has maintained its fees relatively stable, at least with respect to my account, at a time when many other institutions are constantly adjusting their fees. I have been with this company for many years and was never ever late until last year my now ex wife paid the capital one visa credit card bill late Since then my interest rate has raised to 30% which I though twas against the law andf they will not budge on giving me a break. My credit rating was effected and I worked very hard to repair my vrecit rating Besides this one instance I am in good standing with all other creditors

I have been a customer of Capital One for years. I had never been late on a payment and one day I just got a statement and they had raised my interest to 23.9%. I called and tried to talk to them and they couldn't give me any reason why they did this and wouldn't do anything to help. I am very disappointed with them....

I would give Capital One ZERO stars if I could! I have had two experiences with Capital One. Both my husband and myself have had VISA accounts with them at separate times over the years. They are the WORST credit card company. Their fees are outrageous and their customer service is awful. For example, during his carefree bachelor days, my husband became delinquent and they refused to work with him. A $200 credit limit ballooned to $760 because of FEES! (I think he made a few purchases; the items actually purchased amounted to about $50.) He couldn't afford to pay the balance once it went to collection because they wouldn't do a payment arrangement for less than half of the balance, nor would they eliminate some of the fees imposed on the account. They ended up SUING him for the entire amount of $760 (almost all of it from fees imposed) and there is now a judgment on his credit report. I cannot say enough BAD things about Capital One....

i rencently had to make a payment on my card. it was due that day. normally i would have paid a fee on the phone for making the payment. i called customer service and explained that i didnt have the money until that day. after a little bit of pleading and requesting a supervisor they waved the fee....

My son is a mechanical engineer - new grad 1.5 yrs. He travels a lot and needed an increase in his credit limit. He talked to a rep and was declined. Keep in mind he makes approx $120K and has great credit. No other cards, only student loans and pickup payment. No other debt. The Capital One credit card company would not even work with him. He changed companies and has had no issues and has more credit - and pays them in full every month. My husband and I followed his lead and changed ours also. ...
