Canon Powershot is a wonderful camera! It is simple and small to use and it has the best features. I brought cameras which were more expensive than that but WOW this beats them all!!! Not only that but even in a low light environment it has mangificent lighting!! THis is a great camera! You should buy it!!! ITS MEGA EASY TO USE

the Canon sd400 is a great point and shoot digital camera!!

i have had it for four plus years and it is still working very well!! It was my second digital camera i have ever purchased and i did not even have to read the manual because it is so easy to use. There are also a lot of cool functions on there such as the color option where u select a color and only that color will show up and everything else is black and white which is pretty cool. i travel a lot so i take lots of photographs of scenery. it works great for being a simple point and shoot camera. however, it does not take great night pictures far away which is expected because you cannot really expect to get perfect quality with such a little camera. overall if you want a simple camera that takes good pictures, then you should get this or any canon! i have another canon which is similar to a slr and i am in love with that as well. canons are defiintly great cameras and i have never had any problems with them!!

In 2002 I received the Canon PowerShot camera as a gift . It came with a rechargeable 3.7V battery, and my brother bought me a 2nd battery so I can charge one and use one, and never be without power. Changing the battery is so easy. The size of the camera is wonderful: 3 1/4 x 2 1/4 x1 inch makes it easy to take anywhere. It actually fits in a shirt pocket! It also has a handy wrist strap so I don't have to be bothered with a camera bag. The SD cards come in various sizes, but I prefer the 250mb. The viewfinder is small, but I have had no trouble taking great pictures with this camera. Here is the best part: In 2008 it just stopped working one day, so I called the company (they have a phone number on the manual) and told them the problem. They sent me a prepaid postage sticker to send it in, fixed the problem free of charge, and mailed it back. Only took about 10 days altogether. No more problems. Canon is a great company!

I have owned a Canon SD400 for close to four years now and could never have asked for a better camera. Not only is the size perfect because it is compact enough so that you can put it in your pocket, purse or any small space but it is so easy to use. The features are outstanding. There are special digital micro settings, black and white settings, sephia setting and my favorite is a feature you can use to pick one color and when you take a photo it only creates that color and the rest of the image is in black and white. This feature is amazing for anyone who is looking to take there photography to the next level. I have entered in many contests and have had much success with this feature and camera. Also, for what it's worth this camera is also the most durable camera I have ever owned. It has gone through some tough times at the bottom of my purse, backpack and had some close encounters with concrete but still it has managed to work the same as the day I first got it. Canon's...

I admit it, I tend to be one of "those" people. You know the ones who constantly have a camera at what to you may seem like the most dreadful moments. Yet, two weeks later after the picture has circulated, you can laugh out loud about that moment! My friends always thank me later. :)

It's compact, light, easy to use and fits right in my purse or pocket. By comparison, it's about the same size as a deck of cards, maybe smaller. With options for nighttime, manual, indoor, outdoor, even kids (who knew there was a setting for taking pictures of kids!) thats why i like it the most i have 3 kids and there all in sports every picture comes out beautiful. It also has the capabilities of taking underwater photos when you purchase the underwater housing. It's one downfall, there is no fireworks setting like found on many of the other Canon PowerShot models.

With all of the positives with this camera, my favorite is the capability to "mess" with the colors. For example...

Once you get the hang of this camera and have figured out all the cool functions that are possible in the menu, you can have a lot of fun with this camera. It has everything you will ever need. My favorite function (and why I will always buy Canon cameras) is the Color Accent option. This lets you select one color to have show up in the picture, with every other color being in black and white. I have spent many hours on a bus or airplane fighting boredom using this function. The pictures look amazing, no matter what your subject matter! This camera has taken quite a beating and keeps on going. I know someday I'll need to upgrade, but for now I'm very happy with this camera....

This camera takes great pictures, the menu options are easy and friendly. I had it for some time and got used to it very quickly, Definetly would recommend to anyone considering a new digital camera purchase. I love how it fits in my pocket, is lightweight and very easy to handle

The Powershot SD 400 is a great little camera. Very easy to use and the functions are easy to learn. It takes really nice pictures. Theres indicators so you know exactly when youre ready to shoot. The Play back and erasing are fast and easy.The menus and settings on the camera itself is easy to read and select. To turn the flash off and on was a bit tricky but after awhile youll get use to it. The erasing and play back function is great and easy.

This camera is simple to use. The Canon Powershot SD400 Digital Camera. is one of the best cameras I have ever used! The quality of the pictures is excellent, after they have been printed as well. It is a very smail camera and the camera is not too heavy, so it is great to travel with too. So..Before I recieved my Canon as a gift from my Mother, I had a Kodak, and before that a Sony. I loved my Sony - it was a $500.00 compact camera that took excellent pictures and was easy to use (espescially when switching from flash, video, effects, or panoramic). What had happened with that is my then 2 year old son got a hold of it and dunked it in a puddle of water forcing myself to buy a budget camera for school (online art classes) until I could I afford another wonderful shooter. Well, every parent knows that actually buying expensive products and risking them to the abuse of our young children may not be the smartest investment, and every stay at home mom knows that being under a single income budget doesn't allow $500.00 camera's to be bought ever so quickly - So when my other gave me a $250 gift card to Office Depot for my birthday I did my homework on which DigiCam I should splurge it on. I searched for weeks on the internet - bouncing between Nikons, Olympus, and finally set......

Cannon Power Shot is a great camera, easy to use, the printing software that came with it is so easy and convenient! It was a great upgrade from my previous camera. Fits convenitally in my purse for taking it on the go! The flash even works great on shots outside at night! We got some great shots on the 4th of July when my friends camera was generating dark photos!...

I absolutely love my powershot digital camera by Cannon. It is nice & small that it fits in my purse so I always have it when I need it. Everyone always comments on how big the screen is for such a small camera when I use it. The pictures come out great and the zoom gets close up pictures. LOVE IT!

I bring it to parties, to the soccer field and capture the kids playing in the yard. It a small camera but it takes great pictures and captures important moments in our life.
