It is easy to use for a beginner and takes good video. The only issue we had was when we didn't have a digital camera we tried to take still pictures and the quality is poor. This camcorder has good battery life and is easy for everyday use.... Tue, 18 Dec 2007 05:42:27 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Canon-NTSC-ZR70MC-Camcorder-review-ca473 stevensinger 3 http://www.viewpoints.com/Canon-NTSC-ZR70MC-Camcorder-review-3d690 This Video Camcorder just quit working one day when we needed to videotape a very special activity.  It was still under warranty so we sent it in to be repaired & didn't get it back until several month later so missed out on several other important actities we wanted to videotape.  When we finally got it back it worked for only a couple of months then the same problem occurred.  The warranty had then expired so we never got it fixed again.  I am extremely disappointed since we paid several hundred dollars for it.  I would not recommend it to anyone....
