I got my Canon Rebel 2 years ago. It takes great pictures. I use it to get pictures of my family for memory books. I am sure I could learn more to do with this camera if I had the time, but just for normal picture taking, it is very easy to use. The battery last a long time on 1 charge.

About 3 years ago my husband bought me the digital rebel. I fell in love with it immediately upon use. I had a film slr rebel in the closet where it has sat most of the past 5 years. I think I had broken out for about 5 occassions during that time but did not use it alot because of the cost of developing, instead I just used my little digital olympus that I could slip into my pocket easily and download to the computer all the shots so I didn't have to worry about getting bad shots. I used my new rebel and immediately fell in love with the speed. I even went so far as to buy a tri-pod, an extra battery, an extra 4 gig memory card, a remote (which now needs batterys again) and an external flash (that I use rechargeable batteries for). My camera came with 4 different size lens including a wide angle. I love how fast it will take pictures. My husband bought me a small digital canon to carry in my pocket and while it does just fine it is not nearly as quick to take pictures and...

What more is there to say this is the best camera ever....My hubby bought this camera for me for my birthday and I haven't been able to put it down since. Big bang for your buck... Very easy to use and takes great pictures with little effort. This is my third digital camera and my last....

I would highly recommend the Canon Rebel XT to anyone. I have a photography business that I use this camera for and I also use it for my on personal use. I takes great action shots. My son plays baseball and my daughter is on a competition cheerleading squad and people are always asking me to get the action shots for them.

It is easy to use and well worth the money!!!

I have had this camera for some time now and for the price -- it takes excellent photos. The camera is lightweight and easy to use. Telephoto lense can be added and the quality is decent for the price....

The Canon-EOS Rebel XT is one of the greatest items my hubby has ever bought.. I have tried many digital cameras and thought I found my favorite until this one came along.. Now I find myself using it for almost everything. I take it to my rescue and use it to take pics of my rescues so they can be posted online. I love the clarity and ease of being able to take the pics and see what I have taken. I can delete almost at the same time.. The Memory card holds several pics at one time, making it so easy to just keep taking pics and not worrying about running out of space on the card. Most cameras are so limited as to how many pics and you have to delete and possibly miss a good pic. Camera came with lenses, but new ones are a great plus as well. To be able to take pics of a dog through a chain link and be able to omit the chain link is a great plus. You just adjust the dial and shoot and wow the chain link is gone.. Love it..

Anyone that has dealt with the 35mm, using film in the past will...

I have owned the Canon EOS Rebel digital camera for about a year now. I have found that the unit is easy to use and understand and would make an excellent choice for someone with a desire to go into professional photography. I have done three professional jobs; a family reunion, a wedding, and an anniversary party. The clients were very pleased with the end result. The camera has a wide variety of settings that will allow you to take pictures of mountains down to the tiniest flower in your grass and with equal clarity. In southern Alabama we have a little blue flower that is about 1/4 inch in diameter and I have taken perfectly clear pictures of them. Last month (October, 2008) I spent a week in southern Arizona taking pictures of the mountains. I also went to Boothill Cemetery and Tombstone, Arizona (OK Corral). We also traveled to two old fashioned Spanish missions and I photographed floors, walls and ceilings with exceptional clarity. Now, the missions were more interesting......

The Canon Rebel XT digital SLR is great for those who are used to a 35mm SLR or anyone who just wants to point and shoot high quality photos!

The body itself is relatively lightweight. The ability to change lenses is a big plus and depending on the size of lens will add some more weight. I use the Canon 75 - 300mm lens with built-in Image Stabilization. It can also be focused auto or manually. The battery life is sufficient, image save speed is good, and depending on the size CF card, it will store hundreds of shots at full resolution. I use a 4 GB card and it holds over 1000 shots. Pictures are saved in JPG format.

There are also many other settings that can be made to fine tune your shots as with 35mm format cameras.

All in all, I find the Canon Rebel XT Digital SLR to be a fantastic piece of equipment that will provide photographic memories for years to come!

Love this camera.. the only downfall is that it is so big.. It takes wonderful photos! a great camera for a class or for a pro! I have had this camera for a few uyears and have had no problems. i successfully run a photography studio and this camera is one of my favorite to use! I find myself going back to use it time after time.. I also find it saves me alot of time in post processing as well. I got this camera in the black color to look more professional but it also come s in silver...Great deal for this camera. go get it!...

I got the Canon - Digital Rebel XT / EOS 350D, 18-55mm Lens Digital Camera from my new husband as a wedding gift and I absolutely love it! I was going to buy it for myslef so I searched high and low for a camera that was easy for me to use. I knew that I wanted a digital camera and this is the one that I chose, I am so happy that I have it. It is easy to use, easy to share pictures, the pictures that it takes are beautiful, sharp, non-blurry!!! I recommended this to 2 of my friends and they even went out and bought this camera.

I have to tell you that after opening this camera after our wedding I knew that I picked out not only the right camera but the right husband!!!

this camera is really good for professional use or other uses like just taking a random picture. my friend has this and it is impressive. i love playing with it because there is a lot of options to choose from. it focuses really well and has really good pixels. this helps you see the many details in the pictures that you dont get with other cameras. it's a bit heavy but you can live with it. i think everyone will enjoy this digital camera....

This camera really does it all. The Canon XT is so versatile for a beginner photographer. Love it for sports and landscape and just great for candid shots. I also like the Canon brand of cameras. I have a little point and shoot that broke after the warranty expired and they fixed it for free. Can't go wrong with this company or camera....
