The ONLY thing I do not like about it is that you have to have it in post card mode to have the date stamp on your photos!! Other then that it takes great quality pictures and video!! It takes 4 AA batteries and I use the energizer rechargeables and they last FOREVER in it!! And I use my camera almost daily with my new baby!! I really don't have anything bad to say about it other then the date stamp part!! Great product!! Ohh it also has a screen that can move in so many ways....exspecially nice for those people who love to turn the camera around and take a pic by yourself because you can see the screen and don't have to keep trying over and over to get a good one!!!... However video quality is good - just cannot be used using zoom - very annoying. Battery life si good since it uses AA batteries - you probably want to use a fast speed 4GB card else the video will chew up the memory so fast it'll make your head spin. The flash is a bit weak but the image quality is awesome if you set the shutter speed low - all in all I'd give it a 6.0 better to get the powershot....
