demetriabeth says "A Fantastic "Uplifting" Experience!" about Cacique Balconette bra

I bought the Cacique Balconette bra and another style of Cacique bra while on vacation. I took the other bra back and got another Balconette. They are the most "uplifting" bra I have ever worn and as a 42ddd, that is saying a alot. Everything was back where it was 30 years ago! What a magic garment!!! The only drawback to this bra is that it is a bit stiff and the side wires do poke, (but the main underwire does not). To fix this problem I usually sew fleece fabric over the ends of the wires or add moleskin to the ends. If you didn't want to do all that, you could just remove them. Overall, this is not the most Comfy bra i have ever owned, but it definately is the one that makes me feel the sexiest!
...

GMRsMom says "Supportave AND Comfy - what more could you ask for?" about Cacique Balconette bra

At a 38DDD, I have had the worst time finding bras that not only fit properly, but that are also supportive and comfortable. I went shopping out of desperation and the salesgirl recommended the Calique Balconette Bra. I couldn't believe how much I liked it as soon as I put it on! It fits great, it's super-comfy (and I usually despise under-wires with a burning passion!), and it keeps the "girls" right where I want them all day long without feeling like I'm about to spill over or fall out! I think I paid about $32 for one, which to me is well worth it for being able to feel confident and sexy. I tried several more expensive ones and wasn't happy at all with them. My husband thinks this is the best bra I've ever worn - he says he can tell I'm more comfortable wearing it - which says a lot if he's noticed such a difference!

The store I went to didn't seem to have a whole lot of colors available, but otherwise, I couldn't be happier with these bras!...

AWESOMEMOM88 says "trying to understand why I want any sort of padding at all" about Cacique Balconette bra

I already buy Cachique bras, and the saleslady recommended that I try one of these. Quite frankly, at 36 DDD, I have no clue on the planet why I would want even the smallest amount of padding to add to the effect. The construction of the bra felt rigid-and I was very conscious of it as I moved about during my daily activities. To me a good bra is supportive but not something that you are aware of. Over time, I found the "padding" gets lumpy looking as the bra is washed, and that lumpy appearance shows up under sheerer types of blouses and tops. Kind of an orange peel effect rather than smooth. It is also alot more synthetic next to my skin, and I am not a big fan of that. It comes in a host of colors and glossy fabrics, but I tend to like my bras to be the supporting cast rather than the show itself, so it isn't my favorite. It is well made and supportive, but not my cup of tea, and it is pretty expensive per bra unless you hit one of the special offers or have the Lane......

klfprov31 says "My favorite bra in the world!" about Cacique Balconette bra

Lane Bryant's Cacique microfiber balconette bra is a Godsend!

After having no luck finding a supportive yet pretty bra in a larger size, I was thrilled to find the Cacique balconette bra at Lane Bryant. Not only is it supportive and comfortable, it's also very feminine and flattering.

It's available in a wide range of sizes, from 36C to 44H, allowing those of us who are above average in that area to have the support we need while still feeling beautiful, feminine, and surprisingly comfortable.

The price of $32-34 is very reasonable considering the durable quality of the construction, the support, comfort, and appearance.

Cacique also offers the balconette bra with a lace overlay, which combines the comfort, support and flattering cut of the microfiber version with the added allure of lace. The size range isn't quite as wide (36C to 44DDD), and these are priced at $34.

The only negative I have found is that the selection of colors available in any given size can be rather...
...
