ewall84236 says "great value in care card, but poor management, alwalys understaf" about CVS

i have used cvs for four years and am extermely happy and appreciative of the care card program. i use my bonus points from the drug program each quarter. i appreciate the bonus bucks on purchases and the buy one get one free, as well as the other values in the circular. i only buy what is on sale but that is my method at all stores.the 10 off if you buy 50 is a good idea also.

the personnel at the pharmacy and in the store are fantastic. they are friendly, go out of their way, stay late, don't take their breaks if there is a customer and offer very useful advice about specials and how to save money.

HOWEVER,there is a serius management problem at this company. the stores like many today are understaffed. at ALL times that i go to the pharmacy it is staffed short by at least one pharmacy tech. tempers run high among the customers waiting and their demands are often unrealistic but the people working try to meet every need. i have witnessed management reprimand staff in front of...
...

I recently started shopping at CVS after viewing a few of the frugal blogs. What a great store! The ExtraBuck program is so easy to use, and I have gotten so many products very cheap or even free! CVS offers so many specials each week, and when you combine their sales with coupons, you can get some really great deals....

I love this store, it's the greatest bargain hunters dream. I know tons of people who go into Walmart and load up there carts thinking they offer the best prices. Well those people are wrong. If you take a little bit of time, you can walk out of CVS with bags full of stuff for just pennies each and every week. Get the sunday paper for the coupons, and collect them for a few weeks, you'd be surpised what you can get for FREE....

During a conversation with one of my friends out in California, I mentioned a bargain I had bagged at my neighborhood CVS and was stunned to hear that she had never heard of this retail division of Caremark Corporation. Since CVS is America's largest retail pharmacy with approximately 6,200 retail locations, I had blithely assumed that everyone had access to one of their outlets. If you are not lucky enough to have a CVS in your neighborhood and could use another good store in your life, all is not lost ... now we have CVS.com.

This website is fun to explore and offers most of what CVS is known for: "aisles" to browse through, a great assortment of merchandise, aggressive sales and promotions, complete pharmacy including prescriptions delivered to your door, and a chance to earn "CVS Dollars" to be used as credit on future orders. CVS tends to try harder to win our business and this week they are offering among many other deals $10 off an internet order of $50 plus free shipping...
...
