Thu, 19 Mar 2009 01:27:02 GMT http://www.viewpoints.com/Butcher-Block-Plattsburgh-NY-review-6a652 jontj2000 5 http://www.viewpoints.com/Butcher-Block-Plattsburgh-NY-review-f4491 The Butcher Block is a GREAT place to have lunch or dinner or even just drinks.  The bar is roomy and has a great selection of beverages.  Their lunch and dinner menu have many selections to choose from.  Lunch has a variety of sandwiches from grilled sourdough sandwiches to burgers and ribs.  Along with each sandwich comes all you can eat salad bar, soup and fresh baked bread.  Each day they offer lunch and dinner specials.  They have the best ribs in our area and the service is ALWAYs great.  Their desserts are a must with their brownie sundae and cheesecake.  Have it with a cappuccino after dinner.  There is great ambience with soft music and 4 different dining areas. There's the main dining room, the bar area with booths, the solarium and the private dining area for parties and functions.  The decor is decorated in a rustic adirondack feel with bare wood interior and Adirondack items hung from the walls along with antler chandeliers, not ugly but tastefully decorated.  Very......
