bellacasey says "All Natural!" about Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme

Royal jelly is a honey bee secretion that is used in the nutrition of larvae, as well as adult queens. When worker bees decide to make a new queen, either because the old one is weakening, or was killed, they choose several small larvae and feed them with copious amounts of royal jelly in specially constructed queen cells. This type of feeding triggers the development of queen morphology, including the fully developed ovaries needed to lay eggs. It is the best moisturizer that nature could make. It is better than anything a human could produce and there are no negative side effects from using it. The Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Cream is cheaper than anything else I have found and has worked way better. There is no greasy feeling or heaviness from using it. It helps with my dark circles and at my age it is great for preventing wrinkles. Best of all, if I get it on any other part of my skin, it does not make my skin break out. You can't beat the all natural ingredients, good price,...
...

I have very sensitive, dry skin and find most creams irritate my skin. I tried everything and ended up trashing all of them. The ones that did not sting & irritate did nothing to change the appearance of the under-eye area. I was hopeless. Then my daughter started raving about Burt Bees's products. So I gave it a try. This one is wonderful ! You can actually feel the moisture as you apply it without the greasiness of some moiturizers. It lightens, brightens, and hydrates without any irritation. It even helps reduce under-eye puffiness of mature skin. I can't be without this product.

onewhoknowz says "Burt's Bee's Eye Cream is not a product I would buy again." about Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme

At nearly $23.00 for a very small jar of Burt's Bee's eye cream, I am disappointed in this product. I have been using it for 2 weeks and have seen no improvement. I was using Dermafreeze before, and it works way better. I would not buy Burt's Bee's eye cream again.
...

Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Creme has been my saving grace. Since I had a hysterectomy in August of last year, I have dealt with extremely dry skin. I went to the doctor this winter with very red and itchy undereye problems. He diagnosed me with having eczema so bad that it infected my eye lids as well. I began using a hydrocortizone cream for the area, which in turn made it even more dry. He suggested that I use this creme daily to keep the area moisturized to avoid having it happen here again. Once I started using the creme, it was an immediate difference. My eyes were no longer red, puffy and itchy. It also helped to cover the fact that I had been experiencing sleep issues since being put into surgical menopause. I am telling you, I use this creme twice a day, and it has made a dramatic difference with the appearance of wrinkles, dry skin, and redness. If I could only choose one item to live with for the rest of my life, this would be the one!
...

Well after all the great reviews decided to give this a try. Was I amazed to saythe least! It is very rich and smooths on easily. It does make my eyes look more awake and well rested and fine lines smoother. Less expensive is a real plus. Plus the fact that you can find Burts Bees anywhere....

I also tend to get mild eczema around my eyes. A friend gave me Royal Jelly to try, and it works every time; the skin around eyes is never red or spotty when I use this product. I'm not sure if it's intended to help that, but it does. When the jar I have now runs out, I will definitely buy more.

I will say that it stays on my skin, making it look wet and feel a little sticky, but if I just apply some before bed it never causes a problem....

maggieeld says "This is like lanolin!" about Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme

My husband got this for me in a Burt's Bees gift pack, once. I loved it! It's like lanolin and comparable to an older brand of an Estee Lauder product I used to use that belonged to my mother that they don't make anymore. It can break your skin out if you use it anywhere other than your eyes. This product will last about a year. You can also use it on your hands and feet. It's great and good enough for night....

A longtime allergy sufferer, I tend to get bad eczema near my eyes. This is the only product out there that is able to calm the skin around my eyes, which is one of the most sensitive areas of skin. It was a little bit expensive, for such a tiny pot, but it did last a long time, you don't need a whole lot to dab around your eyes. The skin around my eyes cleared up fairly quickly and became very, very smooth. If it can help out my problem skin, imagine what it can do for you! It contains Royal Jelly, which is an amazing bee-product with a variety of uses....

PattyTherre says "Royal Jelly for a royal beauty diva. Makes sense to me!" about Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme

Quick View: I didn't expect to like this eye cream but I do. It's quite good and not too expensive. I don't use it all the time but I do now and then and like the hydration and texture it gives my skin.

About Burt's Bees Royal Jelly Eye Creme

This cream comes in a one half ounce frosted glass container. The cream is white and has a barely there smell. It is quite thick and does contain Royal Jelly which is supposed to do good things for skin and, when ingested, do good things for the body. I don't know about all that but this cream is rich and thick but not too greasy. Just a bit is needed around my eye area and it will take a moment or two to absorb. When it does, the area feels hydrated and softer. The effects last all day or, when used as a night cream, all night. I wake up with smoother skin and my eyes are refreshed.

If I use this cream before I apply makeup, I dot a tiny amount on and let it fully absorb before I continue. At night I am more liberal and plaster a thick layer around......
