I just have to say that the best ever beauty product I have discovered is the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Cocoa. This is a product that I definitely never want to run out of. The price was very reasonable for what you get. There is no need to wear lipstick if you buy this! It both moisturizes and gives your lips a great color. The color is also very long lasting, and I love how it makes my lips feel so tingly! I have tried the other colors in this product line, but the Cocoa is what best suits my needs! An extra bonus is my kids never try to steal my lip balm now, as no boy wants to walk around with shimmery lips! I found my tube at my local Walgreen's for around $3. I don't usually spend that much on lip balm, but since it also serves as my lip color, I felt it was well worth the price. My lips have never felt softer or looked healthier! I would strongly recommend Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer!

Burt's bees lip shimmers are the most wonderful thing ever. I don't like sticky lipstick and stopped wearing lipstick and would just wear reguler chapstick and was looking for womething different and I found it with the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers. I have the watermelon and have gotten many compliments on the color. It keeps my lips nice and soft and I love using the tube container it comes in. It's so easy to use and fits nicely in my purse. My kids even like using them. They come in many different shades. The price is about right. And you can't beat the all natural thing. It lasts a long time. The size is great. It's not too little so you have to run out and buy more soon. I've had mine for almost a year and it's finally about time to get another one. However, I have several of them in different colors just for a little change once in a while. They are fun and new. It's so much better than the expensive lipstick and it protects your lips and keeps them feeling...

I don't like lipstick--never have. Lipstick always makes me feel like I have a glove on my lips. Not Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers!

When I discovered Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers, I found a great alternative. A blend between a gloss and a lip tint, it leaves your lips feeling smooth and tingly, so unlike my experience with traditional lipsticks. It gives your lips a uniquely fresh feeling.

It comes in a variety of colors, although I would love to see more. They are small, lightweight, and easy to put in a pocket if you want to travel light one day.

They are priced at about $3 each, but you can always buy a pack and save some money.

In general, Burt's Bees products are natural and good for you--no chemicals, so you can trust that this is a good quality item.

I am usually conservative about recommending a product unless I really love it. I highly recommend this product if you want a different and refreshing alternative to lipsticks!

I am not a make-up wearer, so I tend to be more of a connoisseur of chap stick and lip gloss more than anything. I found Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers by accident when I was suffering from sore lips at a bookstore one day. I chose the nutmeg, despite it's dark color and was pleased by the instant relief and tingle of pleasure from my lips.

As a bonus, it also smells wonderful and looks pretty. The Shimmers are a very light color despite the dark look on the tube and complimented my skin tone very nicely. With just the hint of color, I felt both pretty and practical. And my lips very happy too.

I absolutely love Burt's Bees products, especially their amazing creams for dry hands and feet. I am also a complete lip balm addict, but I have a hard time finding balms that are the right consistency for me. A lot of lip balms are too sticky, too thick or not thick enough.

As far as the texture goes, I LOVE this stuff! It moisturizes well and is a little creamy without being too slippery, slimy or thick. I really like the fact that Burt's Bees uses mostly natural ingredients and never tests their products on animals. The mentholated and minty oils really feel like they're going to work and healing immediately once you apply the balm, which I like.

I have tried several colors at this point and like them all. They're all colorful and shimmery enough to be visible without being super dark. I also think that all of the colors I've tried go well with just about any makeup color scheme. Overall, the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmers are my favorite lip balm of all-time, and that's saying quite a bit....

I'm constantly putting lip balm, chapstick, etc. on my lips, and while I like the color of lipstick, I can't find anything that actually moisturizes as well as it claims to. My friend got me interested in Burt's Bees because she used one of the lip balms. We were in a 15-passenger van, and fragrance was wonderful! Then, when she said that it is the only thing she uses on her lips now, I decided to give the Lip Shimmers a try. They're a little pricey, so I only own two colors, but I love them. They actually moisturize like lip balm does, and the color lasts. Another thing I like about them is that with today's style being a tinted color instead of a bold one, the Lip Shimmers are perfect! If I had to choose a negative, I wish they would go on sale more or at least offer coupons, but so far, I haven't seen anything. Additionally, the colors are limited. They're still worth every penny though.

Burt's bees is a well-established company that has been putting beauty and health products on the market for years. their colored, shimmering lip balm is one of the best products on the market. It's consistently good. The smell is lovely, the way it feels on your lips is soft and smooth, and it's reasonably priced. I can't wear normal lipstick--even the expensive ones make my lips chapped. But I love this tinted line, and you will really love the way this product performs. The company has a good reputation, too, so if you have any complaint at all, you can bring the item back for a refund or for a replacement product. I have paid $20 for a lipstick that does not work as well as this product does. Burt's bees shimmering colored lip balm comes in a good variety of colors and it's easy to find at your local supermarket, box store or drugstore. It makes a great stocking-stuffer or small gift for babysitters, kids' friends, etc. Try it once and you'll throw out all your other lipsticks....

Burt's Bee's Lip Shimmers is the very best, I've always avoided lip gloss and lip care products this is the best lip care product I have used never feels sticky, it feels natural and I finally have color on my lips with out the taste of lipstick. I find when using Burs Bee's It stay's on my mouth longer, as I tend to wipe my mouth shortly after appilcation due to the way the lip gloss feels.

Guess I should explain what I mean by "it does not like me". I've used it for many months now, and my personal experience with Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer is that after an afternoon or a day of wearing it on my lips, always without fail: my chin area right below my lower lip will have a break out. Frustrating.

It really disappoints me to report that, and believe me I have tried to work around it, for instance, just applying the lip shimmer color to my upper lip only. But it can get awkward looking, having just half your lips with color the other half nothing.

I can only conclude that something in the all natural ingredients is just too oil inducing for my combination skin, specifically the chin, which does tend to be a problem area for me. But this is the first ever lip stick product that, after using it, consistently has seemed to lead to break outs or a pimple popping up in that zone.

Another thing I did not care for about the Lip Shimmer is, although it feels like it glides on smoothly,...

I had never heard of Burt's Bees products until I first used one of the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer products. I had actually been a loyal Softlips customer and had never paid much attention to other similar products. However, I was on a cross-country trip back home when I ran out of my last bit of Softlips! It was like a nightmare--a five hour flight and no way to moisturize my lips! I made my way to the nearest airport convenience shop and looked for Softlips and saw that it was nowhere to be found. Instead, I saw a display of yellow packaged beauty products and decided to give the Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer a try. I figured that anything would be better than plain old Chapstick. When I first applied the Lip Shimmer, I got a slight tingle on my lips so I knew that it was working. I agree that they have great colors out and could have more. I also agree that it could last longer on the lips. It does feel great and work for chapped lips that need some color tho!! Overall I would say it's GREAT!! I'm waiting for more colors to come out!!

I bought this product on sale and thought it was a bargain for $1.00. I thought wrong. I opened it and the smell of rubber burst out and well I thought maybe it was temporary. Wrong. The product was very hard to put on. It stunk and did not have a nice smooth consistency. The wax must have dried out. My lips felt stuck together and uncomfotable. I did not enjoy it. It was a nice deal but it would have been worth it had it done what it was supposed to do. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Burt's Bees lip shimmers are wonderful! I like the color variety that they have in this line of products and they make you lips feel really good! I really like Burt's Bees products and my daughter who is into anything that is natural/organic really approves of all of the products in the Burt's Bees line. I am someone who loves and has to have all kinds of lipglosses and I was a little hesitant to try these out because I didn't think that they would work to make my lips feel healthier like everyone had been telling me, and boy was I wrong! I wear very little makeup and what I do wear, I try to keep simple and natural-looking. One thing I definitely DON'T DO is lipstick — it becomes a "snack" for me less than 30 minutes after it's applied.

I'm very fair skinned and have trouble finding colors that don't appear fake or overwhelming but the Plumrose Shimmer is PERFECT! It's so light and has a minty, icy feeling when it's applied — very nice. Before now, the only lip color I ever used was Cherry Chapstick!

I try to be an eco-friendly shopper in all aspects of my life (cleaning, household, beauty, etc.) and the Burt's Bees stuff is perfect for me — no animal testing, biodegradable, 100 percent natural ingredients. Also, the cost is comparable to other brands and can be found at a huge discount on many sites like drugstore.com.

The only con I have found is that the shimmer does not last very long but it's compact enough that I can carry it in my purse. It also has a moisturizing quality for your lips but shouldn't be...
