I discovered Burt's Bees Toner only recently. I had been buying toners from companies that charge twice as much as Burt's, but did not clean my face nearly as thoroughly. From the look of the many positive Burt's products reviews here at Viewpoints, it looks like the quality of Burt's products is consistent.

This is the PERFECT compliment to the Garden Tomato Complexion bar. It smells just as good, cleanses well and doesn't dry you out. Best of all, you get that awesome "toner tingle" without all the harsh chemicals-plus a beautiful "garden fresh" smell that literally sweeps me off my feet. A blue ribbon winner in my book!
***update***I have noticed after using this for a while, this toner DOES dry out if u put it anywhere NEAR your eyebrows...I must have gotten it too close to my eyebrows because there were dry patches IN them!! So be advised to keep this stuff FAR AWAY from your eyebrows. I still love the smell though :)

Tomato is acidic and astringent, and in this Burt's Bees concoction, will leave you a ripe, glowing beauty. Like most Burt's Bees facial care products, the Garden Tomato Toner is chock full of "yummy" ingredients: cucumber, green tea, and tomato extracts, as well as an array of other natural players. The scent is light and summery - indeed, I often buy it in the winter precisely for its cheering, summer-will-come-again-someday effect. This Burt's Bees hit does exactly what it's supposed to do, and works well on oily and combination skin; if you have extremely sensitive skin, a small test area first is probably a good idea, as it would be with any toner, as they all contain some quantity of alcohol. Burt's tomato toner is a daily product for me. I just wash my face and use the toner and I'm ready to go. It keeps my skin moisturized but doesn't make me break out which is so wonderful. I even keep a little bottle of it in my purse. So useful!...

I have been using Burt's Bee for years, always been using the tomato toner. The toner leaves your skin clean and fresh and the natural ingredients too. Although it is not widely sold, a bit difficult to find for me. But, the product is affordable and effective, highly recommended to others.

Even though I'm in my early 40's, my skin gets oily during the day. I don't find the tomato toner too drying, and my teenage daughter also really likes it for her skin. She says it doesn't smell as bad as the other toners with an alcohol base or witch hazel. I just have trouble finding it at the store sometimes....

I've been having pimple problems from some of the chemicals in most products. But I've stopped using them and started using more natural products and it's starting to clear up. I would recommend Burt's Bees products to anyone. It's worth paying a little extra money for it....

I have a love affair with most Burt's Bees products and Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner is one of them. I first came across this little astringent gem in my Burt's Bees sample kit and went through it pretty quickly. I still have a large bottle of toner from another manufacturer that I plan on finishing up before I purchase another bottle of the Burt's Bees toner, but once I finish with that I'm going to use Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner exclusively.
