I use Burt's bees lotion for my dry skin. It helps a great deal. And Burt's bees is natural. And it has Royal Jelly in it. I think its great for the skin. I also use there other Burt's bees products like body lotion,hand cream and lip stick. If you haven't tried it yet you should. See how you like it. Its even good on babies skin. I buy Burt's bees a lot when I run out I go back after more. I have to watch what I use on my skin because I break out easy. I haven't broke out on my skin useing Burt's bees.

I love many Burt's Bees products but the Burt's Bees Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion is not one of them.

The product says that it is a lightweight all over body moisturizer that can be used on the face as well. It is supposed to nourish and hydrate mature skin and counteract the effects of over exposed sun areas.

I found this lotion to be sticky. It doesn't absorb well. The scent is pleasant enough but nothing to write home about.

Ingredients:

Filtered water, sunflower oil, vegetable glycerin, coconut oil, stearic acid (vegetable fat), beeswax, orange wax, tocopheryl acetate & tocopherol (vitamin E), balsam peru, aloe barbadensis, carrot seed oil, sodium borate (natural borax), xantham gum (natural thickener), sucrose stearate (sugar emulsifier), glucose, glucose oxidase & lactoperoxidase (sugar & natural enzymes), fragrance, beta-carotene....

This is great. I love the scent and it isn't too heavy. It is great for every day and if you like sweet things this is for you. It's more expensive but I use this as a special treat. If you wear it long enough, it will make your clothes smell great, too....

Burt's Bees is a neat company located now in North Carolina. They are best known for lip balm but also make lotions and now some make up.

My favorite Burt's Bees product is the Carrot Nutritive Body Lotion. It softens and also smells heavenly. The scent is my favorite thing about Carrot Lotion. But, for some reason, my youngest son really hates the smell. When he put on the lotion, he gagged. I don't know of anyone else who reacts this way, but I thought I should mention it.

I use carrot lotion on my elbows mostly. For some reason, I tend to be dry on the elbows. Overall, my skin is soft, but the elbows are rough if I'm not careful. This product is marketed for mature and sun-exposed skin, so it works great for problem areas.

Burt's Bees uses natural ingredients. In the Carrot Lotion they include Vitamin E (a favorite around here) and also Beta Carotene.
