We recieved the pink Bumbo baby seat as a christmas present. I wasn't planning on buying one. It seemed like a waste of money. Now that we have one, I don't know how we made it without one! It is super safe and easy to use. I use it alot when I am trying to cook. I just put our daughter in it and let her play with different things. It keeps her in one place and I know that she's safe. I don't have to worry about her falling out or getting under my feet. It's also great for when you are doing your little one's hair. The Bumbo baby seat keeps your little one sitting up straight and in one place. No more chasing them around while trying to put a hair tie in their hair! I would reccommend this to everyone that has a baby that has just recently started crawling or younger. After they've been crawling for awhile nothing is going to hold them still. :-) But this is a great seat for babies younger than that!

I bought this to try it out for my child and it has worked wonders on helping him sit up. My son was an extreme preemie at 15 weeks early and so is somewhat delayed. This has helped alot. It is very easy to clean and quite durable.

When my mother purchased this for me and my son, I initially thought it looked a little strange and was not sure how much I would use it. I also thought that it was a little expensive. I ended up using it like crazy! My son was not old enough to sit up on his own yet, which made getting things done very difficult. I had tried laying him down on a blanket, putting him in a bouncy chair, but he did not like to be reclined or laying down. After getting the Bumbo Seat, anytime I needed to set my son down to do dishes, unload the dish washer, fold clothes, etc., I would place him in it. He was able to sit upright and look at everything around him. He was very content to sit in the chair and watch me work. I also used the seat for some feedings when he was too small for his highchair. He would often times have a bowel movement when sitting in the chair, I am not sure why. (We have already purchased the Bumbo toilet seat trainer for that upcoming stage.) The chair also cleaned up easily......

My daughter was born three months early and as such had a myriad of health problems. One of those problems was reflux. She had to be fed while sitting upright as opposed to most infants who would recline while eating. Plus, she had to remain upright for at least 30 minutes after finishing her bottle.

As soon as she was able to hold her head up by herself, we started using the Bumbo. Not only did she love it but it made meal times easier for us. Even if I still held her occasionally while feeding her, she would easily transition to the Bumbo after her bottle while I was able to rinse out the bottle.

It traveled so well! We took it everywhere with us! Plus, as she got older it worked great as a booster seat so she could reach the table when we were visiting friends and relatives. And it was so easy to clean. I usually just wiped it down with a cloth. But for the food substances that were more determined to stick; after her bath I would throw the Bumbo upside down in...

The bumbo seat has been a life saver for my family but please note that this is only my experience as I have heard other parents say that their children did not like this seat. I am the mother of two very busy girls and love love love this chair. My first daughter started using it at three months and my second at two (it depends on their neck control) and it was so nice they both enjoyed being able to sit up and look around at the world. It gave them a new sense of freedom. My highchair also does not recline so both my girls ate their first solids in this seat and it is great. I love to put it on the counter and be able to look my baby in the eyes but DO NOT leave your child UNATTENDED because I have heard of babies arching their back and getting out of it and falling, my girls never did it they were both very content just sitting and watching what was going on. The bumbo was a big part of my babies first months. We used this for everything! She would sit and play in it and eat in it. I could sit on the kitchen table while I was cooking or just cleaning. She was only able to use this for about 3 months. We started putting her in it at 3 months and then by 6 months she was able to get out of it. They are really easy to care for also.

This was a godsend. My youngest who is now 2 always wanted to be sitting looking at what was going on around him. This was before he could actually sit on his own. No matter how many pillows I put up it never held him. Then I found the Bumbo. He fit in it great and loved every minute of being in it. I only wished they had been around for my first. I never got the tray because I tend to have larger babies and didn't think it would fit with him. Every mom needs one of these.

The Bumbo is a great product. It gives parents the ability to set your baby down for a short period of time, allowing parents to do quick chores like fold laundry or wash dishes. Mine has the attachable tray, so I can put toys and his "bink" on the tray to keep him occupied. It is very light weight so it can be taken on trips with no problem. It seems to be durable and it is very easy to clean up. My only concern is that has summer nears, I'm afraid that it may cause excessive sweating and rashes.

I really dislike the name of the "Bumbo Baby Seat Baby Sitter." Maybe it's meant to be a play on words, but a chair should not be baby sitting your child. Use it as a tool, but only under parental supervision! Kids can get out of them fairly easily, just by arching their back. I found the foam-like material that the Bumbo is made out of caused my son to get very hot and sweaty, regardless of how much or how little clothing he was in. On the rare occasions that my son had a diaper blowout, the mess went EVERYWHERE in the seat and all over his back and legs. The size of the bumbo made it harder to clean.

Not long after we got the Bumbo, our two cats decided it would make a great scratching post. It still worked fine, but was no longer as visibly appealing. Overall, I would not recommend buying the Bumbo. The price of the Bumbo, $40 when we bought ours, is too high for the quality of the product.

We love our Bumbo Baby Seat. We have used it with both of our daughters. It helped both children with sitting up. We also use it as a feeding chair because our daughter sits up straight and the seat is super easy to clean. I am always asked what kind of seat it is and how it works. The neat design interests people. The only con I have is that your baby can arch their back and pop out of the seat. We never had problems like this with our first child but with our second we have had to keep a close eye on her. She will pop out in a second.

This is a great product! I don't know what we would do without it.

I got the Bumbo seat with the tray for my daughter. She loved it. She started using it when she was 3 mos old. It is durable and sturdy. The only problem is the leg spaces got to tight for her. She is a little chubby and she would get stuck in it when trying to take her out. I would recommend this item to a friend. As a matter of fact I passed mine on to my cousin who is expecting.

I found a purple Bumbo seat for my daughter. I was so excited, given purple is my favorite color! I had high hopes that my baby would enjoy the seat, since I've heard such great things about it from so many other moms. Well, she did NOT like it! She would immediately try and straighten her body like a board to get out of it. Leg holes were a tad small for us. Our little one is a bit on the chunky side. None the less, it was a great idea, but just didn't work for us. Wish it would've. We will try again with our next kid!
