noreallyhere says "Broksonic 32" LCD Six Months and Broken" about Broksonic Television

Broksonic CCVG-3276 LCD TV

After six months, the screen goes black after a minute of operation. The sound continues until a channel change is attempted, then it goes out as well. Power cycling the unit will work for shorter periods of time, until it does not come on at all. It is indicative of a component overheating or protection response.

This was a very disappointing purchase. The company only services the TV in NYC so you will have to ship it back there at your own expense in order to repair the unit. And, only parts will be covered, so you will also have to send Broksonic a check for $80 to cover the labor and return shipping. This does not appear to be a very reliable television or reputable company. I would recommend not doing business with Broksonic.
...

ga-mom-wife says "This is quite disappointing !" about Broksonic Television

Excellent sound with no picture. What? This is so upsetting I purchased 32 inch television and less than 5 months I am without the $400.00 television I purchased as an upgrade for my new house and that is past disappointment, on top of that I have warranty 12mnths labor 12mnths and carry in service only the store which i purchased the television from broksonic would not allow them to service the television so i can't use the carry in service and repair locally I live in Georgia and their repair center is in New York and they told me that I had to ship it to them and that they would fix it there and ship it back to me, HA, but get this I have to pay to ship it there and they will ship it back to me. What the heck?

GSXR600MC says "Broksonic 32" HD LCD TV" about Broksonic Television

In April of 2008 I purchased a Broksonic model #CCVG-3276 TV. On March 14 2009 the tv simply shut off while watching it. I removed the back cover and found a fuse that was bad in the main power supply board, I replaced the fuse and immeditely the fuse blew again, after testing the board I found the power supply circuit to be bad, so the tv would need a new power supply board. I have only owned a few tv's in the past and never had problems with them so I found this surprising. I contacted Broksonic and they basically told me that I would have to purchase a new part or send the tv back for repair, they would not consider replacing the part free of charge (or even at a discount). I know that the warranty is only 9 months and the tv blew just out of warranty but I am disappointed that they were not willing to do anything I know they don't have to but it definately shows me that keeping their customers happy is not their priority. I will definately not buy another product from them again and......

I PURCHASED A BROKSONIC 32" LCD tv 4 MONTHS AGO I went to turn it on today and it just gives me vertical bars and shuts off. Upon reading the warranty it only covers the first 90 days labor and 1 year on parts. I did not buy the extended warranty . However upon reading the warranty even if I purchased the warranty I have to ship it back to Broksonic at my expense oh and with an $80.00 check. (I don't ,know what that was for sendiung it back to me maybe?) Anyway anyone can get a lemon and maybe this it. But I think I will stick to name brands..
...

NikiTaylor says "The TV is not fancy, but it works great. " about Broksonic Television

This is my favorite possession next to my computer. Anti-television people will have to avert their eyes as I praise my Broksonic television. All you techies can keep your fifty-feet tall plasma HDTVs. I don't want to see an actor's pores. This is a basic, fourteen-inch color analog television with no bells and whistles. It does have closed-captioning and V-chip. I use the closed captioning because I am mildly hearing-impaired, but I have no need for the V-chip because I have no kids. The only person the television can corrupt is me. I have had the TV for years and have had no problems. The remote did have problems a few years ago so I have a universal remote now. My TV and I are concerned about the change to digital television in 2009, but we've been through bad shows and celebrity misbehavers together so we can weather this.
...
