KarenOR says "The best booster that I have found." about Britax Parkway

There is nothing more important than the safety of your little ones when riding in the car. Car accidents are the leading cause of death for kids. I am somewhat of a self-proclaimed 'car seat nazi'. My daughter, who is 7 now, rode in a Britax Roundabout and then went to Britax Husky. She's still in the Husky and will be until she doesn't fit any longer. Of course, in other cars, she rides in boosters, but we also love the Britax Parkway booster. Britax seats in general can be spendy but it's one thing that even the bargain shopper in me, wouldn't overlook. I looked for sales and was happy with every seat we've gotten.

The Parkway is light enough to toss between cars, using them on playdates, carpools, etc. I found a great deal when they were discontinuing a pattern and got them for $75 each. I bought two. That way we can always bring extra kids. I love that this booster has side impact. Many don't, or it's flimsy. It's easy for the height to be adjusted...
...

I have had this seat for about three years now and I still love it. My six year old daughter still fits perfectly in it. I love that the headrest supports her head when she falls asleep. Its comfortable for her and I feel comfortable with her in it. Its light-weight and easy to switch cars with. I have the cowmooflauge and I would recommend it. I get lots of compliments.

Two cons are the cupholders aren't that deep and the headrest "foam" broke about 6 months ago. Other than that I love it.
...

momof4nca says "Design Flaw - Not Enough Fabric on Head Rest " about Britax Parkway

I purchased the Britax Brownstone Parkway in April of 2007. I drive a Yukon XL, so my Britax Marathon car seats fit fine. When our oldest daughter got a car, we had to purchase booster seats, as the Marathons were way too wide for 3 of them to fit in the back of her Infiniti G35. With 1 Marathon in the middle, we could place 2 Parkways to fit on either side of the Marathon, although it was a tight fit. After about a month, the elastics on the head rest portion of the booster came off, so when we put their seat belts on, the fabric was loose and would no longer cover the styrofoam. Without the fabric protecting the styrofoam, when we would latch the seatbelt, the seatbelt would catch on the styrofoam and break it off. So, the styrofoam was glued back together, but it would eventually break off again because of the poor quality of design, which was the lack of fabric. All Britax would need to do is use more fabric, which shouldn't make the cost of the carseats go up. In fact,...
...

silveryskies says "Nice booster- great reputation" about Britax Parkway

I Love, Love, Love the britax parkway seat and so do my two sons, ages 6 and 3. In fact they both fought over the one parkway when the 3 year old was still in the Britax Marathon- so I had to go out and buy an additional Britax Parkway for the three year old. The Britax parkway is very good for the head rest, which holds the boys' heads if they doze off and is actually comfortable, The cover is washable, very easy to remove and doesn't fade like most other seats. The cup holder is not the best invention, should be taller so drinks do not spill, but we do not use it much anyway. Also in turns the seat does slides a little bit, they could work on that a little. Britax carseats have one of the highest safety ratings of all seats and the lowest number of recalls. Every single one of my 4 children ALL ride in Britax Seats- they are top notch!!! Over all the Britax parkway is an excellent booster and is worth the price!
...

christallr says "The safest car seat on the market" about Britax Parkway

I purchased this Britax car seat 2 months before my baby was born. I was looking for comfort, and style but most important SAFETY. I researched and felt that The Britax was the safest on the market. I am very pleased with my purchase and have received several inquiries from friends and family whom have children. Britax has a great reputation and are known for quality and safety. I highly recommend this one to anyone having a baby or even a gift for someone at a baby shower. You will not be dissapointed. Britax can be purchased at most baby stores....such as Babies r us as well as more high end department stores that have an infant and toddler section. I am planning another baby in the future and will definately either reuse the same or purchase another Britax....

We purchased two of these car seats about a year ago, before we made a cross country road trip. I thoroughly investigated all kinds of car seats online and finally decided on this one for two reasons. One we needed one that would comfortably accommodate my 5 and 7 year old. The second reason was for the wrap around head support. I knew that there would be lots of dozing off on that trip, and wanted their neck supported, and for them to be comfortable. Let me just say, I have recommended this carseat to many people. The wrap around head support really does keep their heads upright. I know their are many boosters out there, and they are much cheaper, but you get what you pay for...this booster is the best!!...

I found this car seat on sale on amazon.com for around $50. Bought it because of the price and I knew that Britax has good products. I am so very pleased with this seat: High quality, good safety ratings, easy to change to different cars, easy to strap in child, and cute design. My little guy calls it his "big boy seat" and he loves it too! It is sure to last several years for him. I would highly recommend this seat to any of my friends, especiallly if you find it on sale!...

Britax seems to be the leader in making carseats or booster seats safe with the side impact foam they use on the head rest. Plus that head rest gives my 3 year old a place to lay his head on when he falls asleep so that he does get a crick in his neck. It's very light weight and easy to install. I wouldn't buy anything else but this booster seat....

Wow! I purchased the Britax Parkway carseat a few months ago and have to say this is the BEST carseat I have ever seen! My daughter just loves it! The seat is extremely comfortable, with high head rests so that my daughter's head does not bob from side to side when she falls asleep in the car. The color schemes are classy and fun and color coordinate with most interiors. I really did alot of research when picking out this car seat and found this one to have the best reviews. Even though this seat was a bit pricier than others I researched, I found the quality of it was worth every penny and loved it so much I purchased a second one for my husband's SUV and I recommended it to my neighbor who purchased one the next weekend.

Beautiful seat.....comfortable and built for safety!
...

My husband and I were desperate to find a seat that would fit in the back of his Porsche 911. This is not a car that we driver frequently, more like a weekend joy ride we take sometimes...but my 3.5 year old son is obsessed with it! He was so sad when we could not bring him along on our little drives because no seat would fit in the back. Finally we read about this seat, and lo and behold, it fit! He loves it! He's a big 3 - 40 pounds and 42 inches..so I don't know that all 3 year olds would benefit. But if your child is large enough for the specifications, don't hesitate to buy this seat. It is totally comfortable and very sporty looking. Everywhere we take the Porsche, people ask us where we found such a cool seat. It is a godsend for a family that is looking a safe seat to put in the back of a little sports car for occasional family fun drives!...
