I love this car seat. When installed correctly it doesn't budge. It can be secured in our car with 5 different buckles and straps! Its not too heavy. I like the velcro on the sides that hold the harness straps out of the way while loading my daughter in. Its easy to get her in and out and she seems to be very comfortable in it. We had her rear facing until she was two years old and she seemed to be comfortable in that position. I don't think it would be easy for her to figure out how to get out of the harness...I certainly hope anyway! The Britax brand was recommended to us by a car seat technician. She told us they are the safest car seats out there. She also explained they are great from newborn to child...I wish we had known that before we bought the stroller/car seat travel system we used while she was an infant, that could have saved some money, especially since Britaz is a bit on the expensive side. To us, its worth it to pay extra to keep our daughter safe.

I originally purchased a Britax Roundabout for our grandson to use in his parents car, as I had heard it was very safe and well made. When it became cumbersome to switch it to my vehicle for visits I purchased the Marathon model in the cowmooflage pattern. It has been so easy to use and has the latch system so it feels very secure, as it should carrying such precious cargo! I researched many different car seats and this one suited my needs and budget. My grandson loves the cow pattern, he still comments about his "cow seat" when I pick him up. I like the design, the ease of use and the secure way it attaches to my vehicle. I highly recommend Britax car seats, they're a great investment. I also educated myself on the proper way to install car seats, it has made a big difference in how well the seat is anchored to the vehicle.

I had a Britax Marathon for both my son and my daughter. I loved these carseats. I know that they are on the pricey side as far as carseats go, but there are worth it. I loved that I could use the same car seat from the time my baby was born, until they were ready to move to a booster seat. Marathons have several pattern options which makes it really fun. I feel like these are the best car seats out there and now that I am pregnant with our third baby, i'm sure we will buy another one.

I think every parent with baby should have this car seat. Yes, it is heavy and big...but you know you child is safe and secure. It lasts a long time...my child used it until age 4. It is great for long car rides and has a removable, washable covering. I have watched other family members use other brands and then have to keep buying car seats because they wore out or were no longer the right size. We brought your 8 lb 11 oz baby girl home in this car seat and have loved it!

When my daughter was first born, it all became about looking out for her well being and safety. And especially, on the road with all the drivers and how anything is possible. For her 2nd Christmas (when she turned 1) her Grandma bought her a Britax Carseat. The yellow one with butterflies on it. And since then, I fell in love with this carseat, because of the good reviews Britax have received. But also, because when you actually get the hang of the carseat, it is pretty easy to take on and off to clean it. (I know this because mine has had several incidents where it has needed to go in the wash) And it always always comes out looking like BRAND NEW! I love the design, I love how it fits her just right. I love knowing that this really is a safe product! So, if you are looking for the perfect car seat for your baby and/or toddler, I recommend a Britax. They have several different designs to offer. They are a little pricy, but if you buy the 2 in 1, you can use it as a baby carseat also,...

So when I had my first daughter I was extremely worried over safety in the car, safety at home, safety everywhere and I did extended research on car seats and found that Britax won hands down over any other car seat manufacturer. They were superior in durability and in voiding injury due to accidents. So I definitely wanted to buy one. The cost was a little out of my price range, so I had my mother-in-Law go in on it with me. And boy am I happy that I did. I'm so happy in fact that now that my daughter is old enough to get a booster seat I don't want to because I love her Britax car seat that much. The design is soft and comfortable, and very easy to take off and clean. It has adjustable seat belt straps so as your child grows it grows with them! After trying many other car seats out, I will say it again,Britax is the way to go if you want comfort and durability! Downside is that it is heavy to bring in and out of the car.

When I bought this seat I had heard so many things about Britax car seats I was really excited. My daughters infant seat was less than amazing and I couldn't wait to get her into something better.

Some pros, the seat is very comfortable for you child. Although the rear facing position does sit quite straight so you may not want to use this for your tiny ones my daughter was comfy around 8 months. She is now 14 months and this is still her favorite car seat to nap in. While your toddlers head will inevitably flop in pretty much any carseat this one is by far the best at keeping her head straight. The car seat attatches firmly into the car using the latch system. It is easy to clean, the fabric is super plush. I love all of the inserts to accomodate kids of different sizes.

Some Cons: This car seat will probably not work if you have a car or a truck with an extended cab. Because of the design of the seat the integrated reclining base seat means that the seat sits high up and far forward....

That Britax Marathon carseat is the absolute best convertible carseat that has ever been on the market. It is most definitely the best of the best. I absolutely love it as well as my daughter does. All the recommendations that led me to buy the seat has proven true and extrememly accurate. I, also, would very strongly recommend this carseat. I love the fact my daughter will be able to get so much use out of it by it accomodating her up until she is 65 pounds. It is so very comfortable and cozy. My daughter loves to snuggle up in it and take a nap as we are running our errands. It is very easy to install also which is an excellent feature. Even me, being a first time parent, was able to figure it out the very first time very easily and it has been a cinch everytime since. We both just love it and could not ask for a better carseat. Thank you so much for such a wonderful, safe, comfortable product!

I like to save money but this is an area that i don't negotiate on-SAFETY. Britax makes the best carseats for the money and they last forever as your child grows. The Marathon is both user friendly when adjusting the straps and super comfy for long rides that require naps. Best investment yet!

I have washed the cover several times and it looks great every time. My small 1 year old is still rear facing in it and sits comfortably. When he is ready to turn around the same seat can be used...right up until he is ready to go to school!

I am so glad I chose the Britax Marathon for my son. I had done extensive research on car seats and found the same thing time after time- that Britax makes the safest carseats around. Sure, they're pricey, but I am willing to pay a little more for the safety of my children. I will say, though- keep your eyes out for sales, as they do periodically go on saleOne of my favorite aspects of this carseat is the ease of installing it in the car. It takes just seconds to safely install it which sure beats other carseats we have tried. I will warn you- this carseat is a little bulky. We drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee, so we don't have any problem fitting it along with another infant car seat next to it, but if you drive a small sedan, you might want to consider a smaller model. The Britax seats also come in a variety of fun designs, though we went with the boring gray and black. I highly recommend the Britax Marathon!!

I highly recommend this car seat. It is easy to get your child in and out of. It has padding that makes for a comfortable car ride for your child. It is easy to install in your car and easy to take out if need be. I found the cover easy to wash. I put the cover in the washing machine on delicate and put it in the dryer on air dry cycle. The cover came out great and it was easy to put back on. My son has always loved this car seat. I would recommend this car seat to everyone. The company is known for its quality. It is a great car seat!...

We have owned a total of four of these car seats. The first two were replaced at no cost to us by our insurance company after we were rear-ended. We moved our daughter, our third child, into this seat, rear-facing, at six months because she could sit up in restaurant highchairs and we hated carrying her in the infant carrier. (Who wants their precious baby down lower where there are even more germs...?) She is still rear-facing at 17 months and continues to have plenty of room in the seat. The front-adjust strap makes it easy to adjust depnding on the weight of coat she has on. I love the pads that velcro over the straps so they don't rub her neck in her summer outfits. The belly pad is brilliant on those hot days, too!

Also, the system they use to attach to the LATCH anchors is incredibly easy! I can install a Britax carseat in virtually any car in minutes because of this. The only downside I can see is that they are slightly bigger, bulkier and heavier than some of the...

When my son's 2 year old Evenflow car seat's foam padding got too thin for him to sit comfortably, we switched to Britax's Marathon car seat. So much easier to install with a far supior latch sysetm than that of the Evenflow. After 2 years of using this car seat, he graduated to a booster seat. My daughter has now been using the same car seat for almost 2 years, and the foam padding has yet to wear thin. If I had to purchase another car seat, I would purchase the same model. It is so easy to transfer to a car which does or does not have the latch system installed. Seat belts can easily be looped through the available gaps in the seat to make it secure in a car without the latch system. Even the bar in the back of the body, makes it easy to carry from the car to the house or to another car. Evenflow's latch system was too difficult to install in any car, and my fingers would sometimes get cuts and bruises from the poor desigh in the latch attachments. I wish that...
