When I got engaged, part of the wedding preparations involved registering for gifts. I must say this was a lot of fun =) As we were meandering through the kitchen appliances I spotted the Breville Juicer-Juice Fountain. My mom had a juicer and I used it once every 4 or so months before I got married. This one looked nice and modern compared to the one my mom had that was all white and would get stained from all the carrot stuff. Well we did end up receiving the juicer and I was excited to start using it once we came back from our honeymoon. I usually only make carrot juice. Whenever I start to feel a cold coming on, I juice carrots and I don't get sick. The juicer was powerful and quick. The 3-4 carrots fit in the opening at a time. The only down fall was that the part of the veggie that doesn't get juiced that is supposed to be spit out is collected around the inside of the juicer. So after juicing about a quart or so, the juicer stops and you can't keep juicing unless...

But when I started using it, I just love it. I can mix & match vegetables & fruits.

I recently purchased the Breville Juice Fountain after reading many reviews. My main concerns were price and how well the juicer would work. There are many juicers out there that are much more expensive, but considering that I only juice on the weekends, I decided on this juicer. I think for the price, this is a great juicer, it is very noisy though. It is easy to clean and "juices" anything I've put in so far. Apples do need to be cut in quarters, as they usually don't fit in when cut in half and WILL get stuck in the shaft. Also, make sure the pieces are on tighly and locked in place securely or there will be some damage. I didn't do this and damaged the plastic part where the juice comes out. Damaged and all, it still works FINE!! For the easiest clean-up put a little vegetable baggy where the pulp comes out. This prevents cleaning and makes the job much faster. All scraps can be put in your compost bin. Be sure to shop around as many sites do offer this jucier......

I am a novice juicer and have tried this juicer and a Champion juicer.

The Breville juicer allows me to put whole apples in without having to cut into small pieces. The consistency of the juice is good and I'm trying new recipes every day. It is easy to assemble and fairly easy to clean.

I do have to empty the pulp bin more frequently than I'd like, and it tends to splatter when I use smaller fruits (grapes, cranberries, etc.) but I still prefer it over the Champion.

I have recommended this product to a friend and she is loving it too!

I gave this machine this rating because I am a total health

freak. For my convenience this was a pain in the neck to use. this is one

machine I wouldn't recommend to others. But this is my opinion I'm a

person who drinks fresh juices everyday.

I bought this juicer for myself last year. It makes juicing easy and fun when making up your own blends. It is very quick and powerful when in use and it has a safety feature of not turning on if the safety bar is not in place. Clean up is easiest when you do it right after using it.

My favorite juice blend: orange, kiwi and carambola (star fruit).

Some months ago I decided I wanted to start juicing. As my first juicer I didn't want to spend a lot of money and found this online for $80. I wanted one that had at least a 500 watt motor. I got the Breville Juice Fountain Model Number BjE200XL. I bought it at amazon.com.

A Closer View

My Juicer came with

A food pusher: This is a 3-inch round circular tube that pushed the vegetables and fruits down the large feed tube. I can fit about 5 large carrots in this tube.

A stainless steel mesh filter basket that is dishwasher safe on the top shelf.

A plastic jug that holds 32 ounces of juice. The lid stays on while juicing which prevents some splashing. It also acts to separate froth from the juice so if I want froth I take off the lid. I don't store it in the container because I like to shake it but it can be store in the jug in the refrigerator. The jug is dishwasher safe.

Safety lock arm: I really like this feature. In order for the juicer to start this metal arm has to be lifted around...
